Still in Lock-up!

Hi Everybody! I wanted to let you know that I am starting to feel better. I am eating and drinking but still sneezing. Mom does think my congestion is breaking up and that things sound "looser". I am still sneezing, but nowhere near as much.

Mom brought me into the bathroom today when she took her shower. She shut the door and I took a steam bath. It felt pretty good. She sat me down on the toilet seat when she got in the shower, but I felt adventurous and wound up between the shower curtain and the liner. I even stuck my head in the shower and startled Mom!

I am still in solitary confinement, but I don't really mind. I'm getting my rest and enjoying having the window perch all to myself. Rusty, Roni and Daisy have all been spotted sitting outside my door. I'm not so sure that they miss me; I think they miss the view of the backyard from the perch.

Mom checked in with our regular vet and they said just to keep in touch and check in every day. It sounds like they don't want to see me! MOL! I must have really been a terror the last time I was there!

Thank you all for your purrs, prayers, comments and gifts and well wishes. They mean alot to us, especially Mom who was really nervous! Mom was at Petco yesterday and was talking to a guy that works there. He is a "Cat Guy" and Mom often talks to him. Mom mentioned the lysine treats, our Petco doesn't carry them, but he told her of a local store that has them. Mom is going to get us some and the Digestive aid that Lacey recommended, since now two of us have been on antibiotics!

The Petco Cat Guy made Mom smile yesterday. When she was at the register, they always ask about adding a donation to either the Petco Foundation or the Petco Local Fund. (We forget the proper names). Mom rounded up her a couple of bucks, not much, just to make an even amount. Cat Guy grinned at her and said "Are you sure? , you have 9 cats, we should be donating to you? It was a sweet! I wouldn't go that far....but I think we should get a group discount! MOL!

Skylar

That's funny that you were peeping at your mom. I like to go in the bathroom while my mom showers too. I sit in the windowsill, and mom calls it my kitty sauna time. That guy at Petco sounds really funny. I do think you should have some sort of Frequent Buyer discount! Keep getting better Skylar!! :)

Glad you're feeling better bud. Been there, done that. No where to be isolated here. Mommy just sticks yucky antibiotics in my mouth, eye, etc, and lysine junk in my mouth which I do my best to spit out.
Yucky!

So glad you're feeling better Mr. Skylar...we got a big family here, too.

Been there, done that with the infections and the lysine gel too. And Keshy had to sit in the hot steamy bathroom with Mom. Funny, I always end up between the shower curtain and liner--I do that when I don't want Mom to sing anymore. She knows I'm there 'cause I'm singing along.

I'm glad you're feeling better, buddy. Way to go!

Skylar, we are so glad to know you are recovering. I'm on lysine, too. I think it helps, but I've had my respiratory condition ever since the pawrents took me in; the vet says I probably always will to a certain extent. Oh, and I like to run into the shower - heeheehee!

Skylar, I am sorry I haven't been around.(Computer issues which have been resolved in the most awesome way possible.Ollie meowed about it in his diary)
Lysine is good stuff!
I agree that with 9 kitties your mom should be getting a discount at Petco.
She is very sweet for donating!Every little bit adds up!
Congrats on being a DDP, I will be back later with a memento.
Sending you a ton of purrs!
Love always
Alfie

Woo hoo. DDP. Concats! Hope you're feeling a lot better today. BTW, don't worry about being a terror at the vet. I never worry about it. I hiss and growl and they laugh at me and call me sweet?

I guess when you compare us to a 120-pound Rottweiler who hates the vet and is trained as a guard dog we must seem like a piece of cake. Serious. The last time Mom took Samsara to the vet that dog was there. Even though his peeps had him muzzled, the vet tech came out from helping get him on the exam table and said "I'm not going back in the that room!"
