I now have Mom to myself. Well...almost...I do have to share her with the others who live here. Mom has finsihed sitting on Silly! Actually Mom never sat on Silly but Silly did sit on Mom! They had a great week; with lots of playtime, treats and laptime. Even the fish survived; Mom feels very relieved that nothing happened to them.

Mom has warned me that July 4th is approaching. I like that there are cookouts; which means fish and meat on the grill! But I do not like the fireworks...the noise makes me really nervous. Mom knows that she has to have a space ready for me to hide in... a cave-like box with a blanket and then leave the radio or the tv on a little louder than usual. What do you guys think of fireworks?

I'm a diary pick today! Thanks Diary Girl! And thank you my friends for all your comments in my diaries! They mean alot to us. Mom says she's happy to be home for this one. The last two came while Mom was away. Mom even double checked the calendar to see if she was supposed to be somewhere today that she forgot about. Oh Mom...I'm gonna start calling you Silly!

CONCATULATIONS ON BEIN A DDP, SKYLAR!!!

Fireworks doesn' bovver me too mush. I jus' goes in my room. We had road construction (whew, Jen writed dat word) fur LOOOOONNNNGGGG time by our house. I gots used to loud noises dat dinnit hurts us. I's happy da big noises is gone. Is less nerf rackin.

Conga ratz two ewe buddy on yur dia ree oh de day a cheese mint N yes...fish on de grill seered over sum grrenz iz de best N fire werks make uz crazed....we haz alreddy picked out hidin spots in de house.....haza pawsum week oh end!! Tuna N sauce

CONGA RATZ!! SKYLAR!!! We learn lots from dem TABBIES! Dey r way way pawsome! Zach tell ur mom to haz fun at da lake! We be's catebratin' mom's birfday 'n my Paw comin' to visit fur THREE whole days! HAPPY 4th to U all!! YEHAW!!
Firewerks not bother me mush, really, but we not got's too mush of dat here in da city..I does like da purrty light show though! Glad u haz a comfortable place to hide!
So happy ur mommy will be's home wif u 'n we also might haz a cookout too! Enjoy ur Big day in da spotlight, my furiend!!

Conga ratz makes me think of a bunch of partying rats in a conga line- like "dun dun dun dun- dun DE!" Then doing the limbo maybe?

I don't mind fireworks, but mom's cat before me was really nervous during fireworks and thunderstorms, and would hide in the bathroom or under a table. Tv noise does help.
