Sophie likes curling up on the big chair - with or without a human - and not getting harassed by other cats.

Pet-Peeves:
Sophie's two biggest pet peeves are CryBaby and Spaz, two of the other cats who don't like her all that much. She also hates loud noises and quick movements.

Favorite Toy:
Soph's favorite toy is the round thing with a ball in a track, and a scratch pad in the middle. Scratching helps her vent her frustration.

Favorite Nap Spot:
Sophie likes to nap either on the big chair or underneath it.

Favorite Food:
She seems to favor the kitten's food, silly girl.

Skills:
Well, she keeps her long hair silky and soft with minimal grooming on our part, and that's pretty impressive.

Arrival Story:
Sophie first appeared in our yard the fall of 2003. We called her "Fuzzy Gray Kitty" at first and were happy to provide her with food so that she didn't get into our neighbor's garbage. She must have been a housecat at one point, because she was friendly. She started bringing a little gray and white kitten around with her, and we tried to capture them to bring them in out of the cold. We caught the baby, Scooter, but Sophie eluded us. She was finally brought in on Thanksgiving day 2003 and has adjusted well, aside from being disliked by a couple of the other kitties.

Bio:
Soph likes her personal space and avoids the other cats. Scooter still likes his mommy, and while she won't let him too close to her, Sophie will tolerate his presence better than the others. She just loves to cuddle up to you and sleep for hours.
