Arrival Story:
Poor old Max still does not have a home - we have had him up for adoption for at least a year! He has grown, uhm, pleasantly plump since the operation to amputate his tail, and could probably take on any sumo wrestler if he wanted to. But what he really wants is a peaceful sunny snoozing place where he can nap and no one will ever shoot him with a BB gun again. He's 2 years old and current on his vet care, but because he has remained indoor/outdoor we would do another combo test before his adoption. He has been around other cats and a cat-friendly dog, but might adjust better without other animals around.

Bio:
If no one is able to adopt him right away, we would love to find a foster home/test home for him where we can see how he does "in captivity!' He uses the litter box fine when made to stay indoors, but no one has tried to make him stay in full time......which would keep him safer, and stop the regular reports we get of a pregnant cat about to pop out kittens any second!
