indoors Arrival Story: My hubby had decided he had wanted a new cat (after I decided after Mishy was gone, I didn't want any more cats ... HA!!) so we went to some Petsmarts in the area (I think that was what originally gave him the idea as we had just glanced at some one day while trying to find a battery for a training collar) and took a look and found a couple we wanted. But we decided to go to our local animal control to look to. We were walking around and I happen to see Bella and took an immediate interest in her because she was a tortie (I have always liked the tortie colored cats!!). But when I pulled her out to visit with her, she was AWESOME!! She was really loving and sweet ... totally unlike my independant cat, Mishu (she is loving but kind of distant). Her card said she wasn't able to leave until a couple days later but when we went up front to put our name on her card, one of the animal control officers said "Oh no, she is an owner turn in so she can go today!" . We were like "Awesome!!". And so home she came. Come to find out her previous mommy had some issues and had to turn her into animal control to find another home but she left her name and number for the adoptee to call her. She really wasn't expecting a call but she was hoping she would get one. Of course on the way home, I immediately called her and she was tickled pink and said she loved me already!! So she filled me in on Bella and her background and the rest is history. Amy, you did a great job raising her as long as you did ... she is awesome!! Bio: Bella is a very loving cat. She loves to lay with you and hang out while you do your own thing. If you don't come to the front of the house where she hangs out (dogs in the back of the house!!) for a few hours, she will come perch herself on my sewing table in the back of the house to get attention. Or she will crawl onto the back of my recliner and crawl into my lap. She loves being with you!! But I have had no regrets bringing three more kitties into my home. It is more litterbox cleaning time but my three newest kitties have given me great joy and actually showed me what a cat was really about. Mishy is quite independent so I never really saw why people were so crazy about their cats. Now I understand!! LOL Lives Remaining: 9 of 9 Forums Motto: Where's mom at?!?! I've Been On Catster Since:
