Arrival Story:
I was abandoned by my kitty mama when I was just under 4 weeks old. A nice human heard me mewing (not meowing, I couldn't muster that extra vowel! LOL...) in her backyard and grabbed me, then went to the pet store to get food for me. She didn't know how to take care of such a little thing like I was then! Another lady (my human mama) heard me in the store, and by luck the lady who found me went down the same aisle where my human mama was standing. She saw me and said she would love to bottle-feed me and love me. I had been crying and crying and the other lady couldn't get me to stop when she held me, but as soon as my human mama scooped me up, I shut up and nestled in the crook of her neck. I think for both her and me it was love at first sight! I am so lucky that she took me in!

Bio:
Mama initially was willing to adopt me out to a loving person or family locally, but that sure didn't happen...She caved, yay! She can't bear to part with my sweet little face! We've got a really strong bond now and we both adore each other...

I guess I am the shy girl in the group...my Burm siblings bounce all over the place and cause all kinds of chaos in the house while I just watch. And when Mom brings out people food to give us for treats, I am just not interested. I guess you could say I am not that food-motivated.

The things that give me the most comfort all involve being around my mom. I am really attached to her! I guess because she bottle fed me from the time I was 3-1/2 weeks old. I love to be held by her, and I love snuggling up to her right on her chest so that she just can't get anything done! Hahaha! Mom tells me I am beautiful and I believe it!

Even when I was in my first cat show as a household pet, I was terrified. Kazu was with me but I still shook like a leaf when I was in the judging ring. The humans oohed and aahed, and I even got a rosette. Of course, Mom didn't let me chew on it like I wanted to...apparently, she wants to take me to another show in February...

Anyway, I am okay with being the shy, gentle girl. Especially with my crazy Burm sibbies around!
