Arrival Story:
We found Oreo and her sister Patches outside near our daughter's bedroom where construction material was starting to pile up from the remodeling we were doing because of hurricane damage. A feral Momma Cat was apparently depositing them there, they were about 4 weeks old. We didn't want them to add any more to the stray cat problem around here already and we didn't want to take them to the shelter so we adopted them, bottle fed them and are now raising them indoors as part of our family! I never did find any more from Momma cat's litter so she might have had only them two.

Bio:
Oreo was the one that I thought was not going to make it. She was the smaller of the two, didn't eat as heartily as her older sister Patches and just didn't seem to thrive. Now, she's the most active and the most silly of the two and also the most troublemaker! She's also the one who doesn't mind being picked up or carried and loves to have her tummy scratched.
