Skills: Shes extremely agile and she can "talk" like no other cat I've seen. She's very sociable and friendly - even to her vet! She stays very still and quiet while having her shots and as soon as it's done she meows, head-butts the vet and sits next to her...
Dwells:
indoors
Arrival Story: On December 2001, near Christmas time, I had to take Alvin, my cat, to the vet one last time - he had cancer. I called the vet and checked if she had any kitties to give away so I could bring it home when I took Alvin in. When I got there I saw this cute calico cat and fell in love with it, if it weren't for the fact that the cat was jumping around non-stop - what a hyper-active cat!
After Alvin slept, I went to check the kitties and learned that the cute active girl had a sister. How could I separate the two of them??
As soon as we got home she fell in love - with the Christmas tree. It's so cute when little weightless kitties climb the tree... Unfortunately after one year she wanted to climb the tree again, but by then she wasn't a weightless kitty anymore. We've never had a Christmas tree in the house since then. (Even though sometimes I feel like having one just for them to play...)
Bio: She got her name because of a nice ginger spot she has on her left side. Whenever you call her name she answers back with a "meow", even when she's sleeping (she doesn't even open her eyes, just her mouth...). She's the friendliest cat I've ever met, and even though she doesn't like to be held, she sometimes puts up with it just to make me happy... she's very, very good-natured, she never bites or scratches, she's my lovely girl.

Do boys stink or what?
And what's with the peeing out of his littler box??? How can they even consider doing such a thing?
And the attitude, oh my, the attitude!!!
He's cute alright, but c'mon, give me a break, stealing my food?
It's bad enough not having food available all the time because of Fatso (Abigail), now when I do get some I have to put up with that little furball trying to nick it.
And the sheer fearlessness of the little guy, the lack of respect! The total disregard for the rules!
I must say I used to see the house as this haven of feminality, you know, me, the girls, Mom, we were like these free Amazon-like entities, everything was peaceful, tidy, smelled nice.
Now DEd's got an ally just as messy as he is.
Madness, I tell you.
Madness!
I'm suspicious of something. I think my Mom has the forbidden "F" word: FLEAS! She was scratching and with red marks, she says mosquitos did it, but, uh, I don't know.... aren't mosquitos harmless living toys? I've never heard of any cat being bitten by a mosquito. I think she's just saying that so we don't tell Dad and ask him to give her that same product she once put on us, on the back of our necks. But the point really is, how did she get them??? Was she playing with a strange cat, or even worse, a strange dog??? Or doves, I once heard that doves also can have fleas. Or maybe humans have fleas and we poor animals get them because humans hug us. I have to do some further reaserch on that. Right now Mom is giving treats, yey! I'm not gonna let her hold me, though, just in case...
