indoors Arrival Story: Shadow was a baby, living off scraps by a rumshop in South Trinidad. When his mom's band was practicing nearby, he came to listen. She played with him and even let him sit on a bass pan! He purred as loud as he could, to tell her he wanted to adopt her. Finally, she decided he should go home with her. A taxi was waiting, but there was no box to be found. So she put him into a grocery bag with his head sticking out. He was very, very quiet and good for all 3 taxis, since he heard they might not let him ride and it was very late at night. When they got home, his mom had to rip up newspapers and put them into a baking pan, since she really didn't plan on adopting a cat that night!! And do you know, even the very first time, he used that kitty box and has never, ever made a "mistake!" He's that much of a good boy. And he still has his very, very loud purr.
