Birthday Wishes

Meow I am officially 1.
Mom made a chicken birthday cake for me and Sabre so we could celebrate.I thought I was getting a mouse bit I was wrong/ The mouse was for Sabre so he didn't get jealous. I got a big doily. I love doilys so much. When we lived with grandma I used to always try and take hers that were on the table.

Almost 1.....

Hurray I am almost 1. Tomorrow!
Mommy and daddy are so excited. The bought me a new toy. A mouse that skitters across the floor when you wind this know. I wasn't supposed to get it until tomorrow but i found it hehe!
Mom is making me a cake too. She makes dog and cat treats and my favorite is the chicken cat treats so she is just gonna do it up as a little cake.
I was supposed to get neutered last month but the vet found tapeworms and i had to be on 3 months of medications...only 2 months left to go. Then the vet will neuter me.
I think i'm pretty lucky that i'm not neutered but i sure didn't like those tapeworms!

Hi All.
Well mommy and daddy were worried that I wasn't eating enough food or gaining enough weight. Sabre is on Weight Control food and the bag says I could eat it too. The size I am to maintain my weight and the size Sabre is to lose weight, we get the same amount. But it just wasn't sitting right with mommy and daddy...after some outside advice (vets!?!) it was decided that I could continue to eat the weight control food not a problem but that I should be getting some canned food as well to help me gain some more weight. I will be a year in the beginning of June and I'm only 9 pounds!!! I hope mommy buys that Merrick stuff I like!!!

That's not a fly!?!

Me and Sabre have been catching flies that come in the house and yesterday we saw a really big one! It didn't look like a fly...it had yellow on it and it had a pointy bum. it also buzzed alot louder. we were trying to catch it to see what it was...Mommy shreiked! IT WAS A BEE!!!
well i've never seen one before!
Mommy is really allergic to bee and she was scared to get stung...but she didn't want us to get stung either. so with a broom and her epi-pen handy she smacked the bee. luckily it died.
geez...all this over a bee
i still think it woulda been fun to play with

New Home

Hello All!! Im getting a new home...kinda
Since the weather is getting nicer mommy and daddy are going to start going to the cottage on the weekends. Its only a hour drive away and i like it there. i dont get to go outside but there are tons of birds and chipmunks to watch from the screened in porch. i heard mommy saying maybe they wouldn't bring us this year for just weekend trips. sabre doesnt really like the drive and he gets sick:(. if they go for a week though we get to go.
there is a big workshop at the cottage and daddy is going to build us a big cat tree. ours is kinda small and im getting to long to curl in the hut. Its gonna be so cool. i got to see drawings of it last night. the base is going to be like big H. There is going to be a post attached to the H with rope on it for us to scratch. then there will be a big flat piece of board where we can sleep...big enough for Sabre too...its gonna have 4 more post, one on each corner that goes from the H to the the board, and up a bit higher than that. There is gonna be a second board up a bit higher than the first and it will have the post and small sleep board from the post we have now. it sounds complicated but im so excited!!!
mommy was just going to go to the carpet store and ask for scraps and stuff, but daddy insists we buy the carpet that way it all matches...which makes sense.
IM SO EXCITED

Shower Time

I got to have a shower last night. I was playing in the bath tub and Mommy didn't hear me or see me. Well she turned on the water and i got all wet!!! It's ok though cuz i like water.
I tried to hide in the shower this morning so i could surprise Daddy but he caught me. He didn't let me shower with him but i got to play in the tub after!!!

Hurray!!! Scoopable Litter!!!

Well I got my scoopable litter!!! I'm sooooo happy. I just don't like that non-scoop kind. Its icky:(
And now Sabre is on a diet hahaha. Its really funny too me. Mommy would put our food down and then get in the shower in the mornings. Well Sabre would eat all of his. I only got to eat some of mine before Sabre would come eat the rest. Now mommy is getting up earlier so that she can make sure he isn't stealing my food. I really like that because it means extra snuggle time while Sabre is eating!!! Don't worry. Sabre gets snuggles too while I'm eating.
I'm still not sure about this neutering thing. Mommy made the appointment this morning but i'm still not too sure!

I'm MAD

Grrrrr. I'm upset.
First mommy and daddy buy the wrong kind of litter. I like scoopable but they bought non scoopable by mistake on friday. They are going to get the proper kind tonight when they buy more food. I was so mad. Mommy always scoops my stuff out twice a day but she can't scoop pee out since it doesn't form those neat little balls. I got back at them though, i peed on their bed hehehe.
Then... mommy said something about going to the vet to get neutered cuz i'm big enough now. i'm not big enough im only 10 months!!! last time i went to the vet they put a metal thing up my bum and i didnt like that. Mommy said that was just to get my temperature but i dont know...seems sketchy to me. Mommy and daddy wanted to get me neutered when i was 6 months and i was real scared but the vet said i was to little. I was old enough just too tiny.
I told Sabre i was scared and he licked me on my ear and said it would be ok. It doesnt hurt too bad and you get to lie in bed for a day. PLUS daddy sneaks you in a can of tuna when mommy isnt looking! I love tuna!!!
Its getting warmer here and the birds are starting to sing. I don't like when they sing but i like when they fly by the windows. One day im gonna go outside and catch me a bird. Just don;t tell mommy or daddy because they don't let me outside. It'll be our secret.
