Oh my cat! I have been meaning to write about this now and just got tha chance!!! My good furrriend Hazel Lucy has one too! It's called a Calming Collar and it's pawtastic!!!! Kitty's snugglebug Riley told us about them, because Miss Hazel Lucy was gonna get one, and Mommy had only seen tha ones from tha petstore wif that powdery stuffs on it...yuk! Well, we looked on the interwebsss and found it! Check this out:

It's tha best! It's an herbal collar that we wear and it really calms me! I have not been using Kitty P and my mousie toy now and I am sleeping soundly at nighttime and I am not all on edge, as Mommy likes ta say. I think this is waaay better than anything we has evfur tried ta helps wif the sometimes aggresssshions at home, which is a lot akshully 'cause we've tried sooo much. Mommy is officially convinced that the kitty prozac stuffs we've been taking is not tha best and we needs ta be off of it. She is gonna call the vet doc doc today and see what they say because we have been taking it now fur months and it's helped a little, but not too much and I hope I don't has ta takes it much longers.

OMC-Calming collars are pawsome!!! Seriously! And the woman, Deb, who makes them is so nice and helpful on tha phone wif any questions you has and they come so quickly! At furst Mommy thought maybe the smell would be too strong too, but you know, I is an expert at removing collars or all kinds and I didn't even try ta take this one off! I loves it!

Indiana, Thanks for the nice words on Calming Collars! My Mom makes them. I wear one for thunderstorms. We Mendez cats are demanding she update our Catster pages -- enough with all her sewing and playing with herbs!

Indiana, I think we could start a group!
Mom put mine on the bed for an hour and I slept so well I didn't get up at 5am for my early breakfast, we slept until 8am!!!

Yay! I am getting one too. It will be (Peekaboo) bandana pink. We just ordered it on Sunday, it will be made today (Monday), and shipped tomorrow. I should have my new calming collar before we go on vacashun again. Last time I earned a new nickname, Miss Howling Woof. I am hoping to make mama and daddy and Gunnie stop calling me that. I catnot wait to get my new collar.

oh yay!!! Yah! Mommy has been leaving mine on me when she works and if not on me at nighttimes, on tha beddie next ta me and I don't try ta sneak attack Kitty P at all! Akshully I probably wrote this somewheres, but Kitty akshully let me clean her head and I let her do mine too, which was so nice fur a change =) Mommy is going ta visit somewhere this weekend and feels safe leaving us wif our auntie now because she thinks we might not fight! Mommy ordered one fur Kitty too!

Pawtastic! Make sure when you go off the prozac you check if you have to go little by little or not. In people the withdrawal is bad sometimes my momcat said. She says she's furry excited that you found something that works fur you!!

Good for you, Indy...

We completely forgot about the herbals when we wrote you. I guess because the ones we used had to be added to our water and wasn't something we could smell. The product didn't make much of a difference. Our Misha had been on Valium occasionally--sometimes it made his problem worse.

We're so glad you found something that works.

gotta try the collar but not for me. my brother Curly pees everywhere! he gets into fight with some of the other kitties:( gotta try it on my other emo brother yugi, he hates everyone! thanks for sharing the info Indy:)wish the also made small kitty blankets.
