Does your little brofur or sisfur look cute sometimes and then they bug you likes, a second later? Mine does!
Does your little brofur or sisfur make cat chirpy sounds while trying ta bites the hair under your chin, which makes you run away? And then he chases after you!?! Mine does!
Does your little brofur or sisfur wanna take your spot on the window seat sometimes when your not there, 'cause you let them share, but then they watch you like they are hungries when you are in the spot, and they run when Mommy looks at them? Mine does!
Do you like to steal the yum yums from under their nose and mouth when you realize they is still eating their share, and they do nothings about it and just let you? I do!
Does your Mommy pet the little stinkers and then you, and then call them all the same cute names? Mine does!
Does your stinker, 'casue it sounds like I am talking bout really stinky brofurs and sisfurs, do they like to pretend to lick your ear, so you let them, and then try ta chews it instead!?! Mine does!
If you gots a situashun at home like this, because you could answers yes to at least 1 of the questions, then you gots a little brofur or sisfur that you loves, but they are stinky little furs too!
Yup, yup, yup, yuppers, yups! MOL. Get used to it kiddo!
Mom has wondered if it's a good idea to separate us when Jack gets like that too much, but then she thinks that I need to keep reinforcing boundaries-what do you think Lacey?
Mom never separates me and Finney. She hears me growl and hiss once in awhile because I'm letting him have it. Then she tells him to stop it and he just goes away. I wouldn't separate if she can help it. She has to learn that you can take care of yourself for the most part unless it gets out of control. Jack needs to learn too when enough is enough.
Thank mew-yeah, my mom was thinking that it's important to make sure we both learn, him the boundaries and me setting them! It's funny cause when he wants to pounce, he looks at Mom first to see if she is watchin MOL! I'm still being good with him, last night my fur got all puffy though and he kept chasin me. Mom had this toy though and he loves playing now so he chased her around with it...I think he wonders why the mousies aren't real MOL!
as long as there isn't any hissing or growling that goes on for a long period of time then it should be okay. My mom certainly was scared of this at first but her online friends said this is normal. I can take care of myself and I bop him good when I've had it. he knows!!!
Yes to millionth degree!
This is all the stuff I do to my sisfurs. And if they don't like it, well, they can just lick my butt!!
Thanks furriends! Well, we just wanted ta check because of the past and make sure that we are still taking things slow! When I hiss, it's a little hiss, not a grumbly scared lion hiss! Jack makes all these other sounds though, Mom only heard him his once when she tried to pet him in the beginning. Mostly he runs away and then peeks around the corner of the hallway and comes back doing his chirpies
MOL. it sounds like things are just fine. We can understand though why your mom would be nervous because of what happened with Harrison. As long as you are not hiding (which it certainly doesn't look that way), all is good.
nah! I always have my tail up and walk past him! Mom says I'm asking fur it 'cause I do that and then he gets up and follows me! I let him lay down by me too and I don't his. And there's the whole goin up to him and stealing his yum yums from under him! MOL!
YES YES YES!!!!I do!!!!! Mom says that is sisfur/brofur love cause we are family@
MOL, you are funny Kitty P!
So glad you're getting along with Jack. He needs you to teach him how to be a kitty.
Story of my life... (even if he is only a year or two younger than me)
The "Chirpy sounds" though are what the Blonde Wookie makes and strangely what the striped nuisance makes, when he makes a sound.
I try to ignore him for the most part. Sure he seemed bent on getting me to lick the top of his head (WEIRDO)
But Gabby seems to meet his "playful" needs and I get to live in peace.
He's getting older too now - what can I say? Wait until your "Nugget" ages and teach him the ways of the Queen, she that is Kitty Pryde.
You're doing well girlfriend. Steal that food!
Yep, I got one of those stinky little brothers here too.
