Still the Boss!

I am still the boss at my house and I rules my mom! So we got these baby gates up at my house so that way I can see my brofur and he can see me, but we can't touch. But he likes ta just sit there at the gate and meow and meow and meow and look at me. I get ta eat and I do right in front'a him, but he's eating too akshully so I guess it's not like I'm showin off or something. But still, I feel kinda strongish. And I still get ta sleeps with Mommy, though the othfur day she took turns with us. The good thing about this dude is that even though he hangs out in the bedroom during tha day, he stays off my window seat! He sits on the other one, and only stands next to the chair that's next to my seat. That's a smart cat...

Things has been ok I guess though. I know some pawrents has been worried and Mommy totally thanks you guys fur thinking of us. I guess it's just gonna take me some extra time, but in the meantimes we are taking turns wearing tha calming collar until Mommy can order another one, we gots that Feliway stuffs, which is stinky and not good if ya asks me, plus we gots tha Rescue Remedy and we gets treats and toys and evfurrything.

Yesterday night, before Mommy had ta works fur class and on Sunday, she let us sit in tha same room and played. I ate my treats and then went to a safe distance away ta watch while that cat chased this toy. Then he started scurring ta me so I hissed and Mommy picked him up and put him in tha room. Then, while she was putting that gate up, he somehow jumped ovfur tha first one and zoomed right up ta my face and so I proceeded ta screeeammmmm and screeeeech as loud as I could!!!! Even though he didn't even touch me!!!! Mommy whisked him away, again, and then I got tha calming collar. I screamed at him too when he decided it would be fun ta dart to tha gate when I was watchin on tha othfur side....what's with this dude? I does have to say though, that I did let him sniff my nose again before I made my decpurrrration a'distress when he jumped ovfur the gate.

I know Mommy tells me I should give him a chance. I swears, I would. I just don't know if it's a good idea. I mean, he made me mad by jumpin on me, so in my calcuashhhhions, one time is too many! That stinker's gonna get his toothies cleaned in a week too...good riddance fur tha afternoon, that's what I says! MOL!

DA TABBIES are totally right. You and I don't know what it feels like to be caged day after day, even when you have the zoomies. I think it would be pretty bad, even though I sleep most of the time now.
Harrison is testing his muscles and reaction times. These are instincts in us, and I'm sure he doesn't purposely aim himself at you. It's also his first freedom & his first sisfur, so he may be a little overstimulated, but I'm sure he's happy about it!!!
Also, we understand that it's better to be safe than sorry. We're confident that you will come around in time. Luv, Tink

We had the baby gate here.....It used to be lifted about four inches where Natasha could crawl under and Alex couldn't but she never did go under so it is at ground level now. I give them treats at the gate so they will eat while seeing each other. Natasha is doing better with her hissing. I am now feeding him sometimes his meal at the gate. I want them to associate food with each other.....Who know?...... He never gets to go in because he will go straight to her litter box and pee....He likes to tell her who is in charge....To avoid litter issues, he will have to stay on his side until she likes him better....It has worked here fine. I sleep with her and he gets us while we are in the living room. We are on one floor so I can hear Natasha calling me to go to bed at night....She loves to cuddle at night....I hope that your two eventually like each other.....

I have to say this is kinda funny. Don't yell at me Kitty P! I know you don't think it's funny but really it is. I can picture that poor Harrison trying so hard to play with you and you just freaking out! You probably scare him when you do that. It's true, he's so lonely and so ready to have the zoomies. You gotta give it a shot. It's sooooo much fun Kitty! Trust me!!!

BTW, does your mommy know mine called her last night and left a message? Just making sure she got it.

Lacey, anyone who looks at you & Finney's photos and videos can see how much fun it can be to have two!! It's what everybody would want and the ultimate in getting along!! You are very fortunate, if Tink adjusts half as well as you we'll consider it a success. LOVE your videos & the synchronized-swimming photos!! SO funny!! Luv, Tink

Believe me Tink, my mom knows how lucky she got that me and Finney love each other so much. We still walk up to each other and give kisses out of the blue. Mom is like "AWWWWWWWWWWWW!" MOL. I think you and Snow will be made for each other. We can't wait until he goes to his new home. Don't get me wrong, he does bug me sometimes but ya know I can give it right back to him even better, heh heh. Oh mom has had a new video in mind for us for a couple of months now but either hasn't had the time or has been too tired or sick. But she'll do it soon.

Oh thanks guys....Yah, I gets it Lacey!!! It's kinda funny 'cause he literally stops in his tracks and looks at my mom, but she doesn't laughs!!! She just hovers MOL! My mom did get tha message! She got home from rehearsing and it was afturrr 1 am your time, so she didn't wants ta call that late! Natasha! Can you believes that this dude tried ta squeeze thru tha space in tha gates, like above tha bottom gate and below tha gate on top of it! He wants ta get out that bad!

She's usually up WAY into the night/morning Kitty P. if not she shuts her phone off so either way your mom can call anytime.

It sounds like things are improving. May want to have your Mom ask the vet about why Stinkers has so much energy and how to get him to safely expend it. He wants love and to play. We like the rest of the advice here. Good luck!

hey Kitty P, are you learning that every time you hiss he gets taken out of the room? MOL You tell him who runs the house in case he forgets! ;)

It's just gonna take some time but I think you guys are doing great. The important thing is you still get to sleep with your Mom. I do that too. It's my favorite routine. You're the boss, Kitty.
