Arrival Story:
I was out with my boyfriend, and my mom called and asked if I'd like an early christmas present. (it was April the 4th. lol...) I said sure, because I knew she was at a huge adoption event, and it probably involved animals. Turns out, my dad (who'd tagged along) found a purebred Siamese named Simon at the Cute and Cuddlie AWS, and their adoption fee is seriously only $6. So he was more than happy to shell out the cash, since 'Simon' was a sweetheart. It helped that my flame point who had passed away a few months back was also named Simon. (its a common name for Siamese, but still!) They brought him home, and I got there pretty late that night. He wasn't too thrilled to see me, or meet his new sister and foster siblings. I wasn't too worried about the fosters since they would be leaving soon anyway. But I SO wanted this pretty kitty to get along with Ember. He was BEAUTIFUL. Slender, like a typical Siamese, and had a beautiful face. He made Ember look like a fat mixed breed. It took two days of patience, rescue remedy, and stress relief treats, but he came around, and they're wrestling right now as I type this. =)
