My original people dumped me in the pound when I was only a year old--because they foolishly let someone allergic move in with them--can you IMAGINE??? The shelter called my mom & she came & got me just a few hours later--turns out she had written to 200+ shelters (pre-internet here!) & they had her name on file as looking for a foldie...ironically I was taken to a shelter 2 miles from her house!! Now I truely rule the house & never have to worry about landing in a shelter again...she'd NEVER give me up for ANYONE!!!
