Arrival Story:
I adopted Faith from a local no-kill shelter on 3/21/2009.

Bio:
Faith was approximately a year or so old when I adopted her. I don't know if she ever had kittens or not, I'm thinking not. She's a bit skittish and jumpy, but is friendly when she's in her comfort zones. She has rigid movements, going back and forth to be pet then FLOPS on her side. She likes "face washes." Faith doesn't like to be held. She does let me hold her now and then but I know she's not happy about it :D We need to lose a couple of lbs, too. Purina One Weight management food doesn't seem to be doing the trick. Faith also has a licking issue that we can't figure out. She has had steroid shots to help her sores heal but I don't like continually doing that every couple of months. The sores always come back anyhow. I think it may be allergies, so we changed foods to a starch-free food. However, she still insists on licking certain spots so much that they scab over. Maybe this is, or has become, behavioral.
