Arrival Story: Matty and Aaron found each other several years back on Rocky Bay, near Gig Harbor, Washington. Her fur was a matted mess, making "Matty" an appropriate name for this loving, yet somewhat paranoid girl. Unable to find an owner, or someone to claim the scared and starving Matty, Aaron took her home to Kirkland, WA, where he lived at the time. Selby the cat, Aaron's original feline love was insanely jealous, and the two old girls still share an uneasy peace, but seem to have accepted each other as non-biological sisters. Matty must have had a bad experience with children early on. When Aaron's young nieces and nephews come over, Matty flees instantly, hiding under a bed, not daring come out, even for her beloved Natural Choice complete care pouch food. On a related note, Matty and her sister Selby have been eating Nutro foods since well before their human dad, Aaron, began a job with Nutro.
Bio: Matty is thought by many to be part Maine Coon, and not simply because of her robust size. Matty doesn't play the so-called "Maine Coon Card" when conversing with other cats, because, in their world, for the most part, it doesn't matter who your parents were. What counts, is personality, and Matty has it in spades.

The Last Forum I Posted In: Why did my cat turn into a "vampire" around my dog?
Maybe we're simply tired of competition. I love the ol' girl, I really do, but she's so bitter about our past fights and spats! I wait until she's sleeping soundly, and for the first time in years, I've begun to cuddle up and nap as closely as possible with her. When she wakes, she looks at me quizzically.
I wish the neighbors would get him fixed!! He's been their outdoor cat for @ least 2 years, he sorta adopted them and I think they don't wanna get too attached to him. He's well fed, but prowls the 'hood @ night and yowls outside my window, espousing his undying...er, love I guess for me!! My sister is nearly deaf, and she's not his type, so they just kinda ignore each other, but Tiger is ALL OVER ME, whenever I go out and he's always making unwanted advances!!!!! What a little jerk! Dad sometimes will scare him off, but dad also feels bad for Tiger, he's a misfit, and slightly aggressive........ARRGGHHH
Dad got me a stuffed mouse that emits the same volume and freekwencey (whatever that it) that a real fieldmouse makes! He said it was a little 'spensive for a kitty toy but he knew I would luv it! and I do! I go nuts with my toys so dad tied some yarn to its tail and connected it to my cardboard scrather that I sometimes sleep on. I bat at it, kick it, bite it and every time it moves it lets out s shreik like a real mouse. I'm such a hunter, it's the coolest thing dad has ever got me I think.! I'm gonna go play right meow!!!

so cool, Selby doesn't like it 'cuz she's pretty much deaf and can't hear it, but it makes me feel wild!!! yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
