Arrival Story:
Kema was a stray kitten that my college roommates and I found and took in. He adpoted me quickly and loved to sleep in my lap while I studied. He charmed his way into my family's hearts and turned a primarily dog-loving household into one of cat-lovers. Kema was the first cat I ever had. He was a gentle giant that accepted me as his human. He died in my arms almost a year ago after a long fight with heart failure. I miss him and think of him every day. He holds a special place in my heart. In his memory, I had his name tattooed in Japanese on my back so that he would never be forgotten.

First new home...

My human will soon be moving into her first new home since I went with the angels. She chose it because it reminded her of me. I would have loved the new place with it's big windows and lots of trees in order to bird watch. A quiet place where I could sleep in the sun without being disturbed. A friend of the family paints with watercolors and will hopefully allow Missa to commission her to paint a portrait of me so that I may always watch over the house. She will be lonely without me and I know that she misses me but I will always be a part of her life.
