Arrival Story:
One day I was outside next door at my parents house, and I heard a small squeak. We had been cooking chicken on the grill, it was dark outside. I saw a small figure in the grass and there she was! A very small, very hungry, very dirty, kitten! I immediately took action and got cat food from my house. She actually growled when she ate because she was sooo hungry! I took her to my garage because she appeared sick and I did not want to get my indoor cat (Libby) sick also. After a few weeks, and no luck finding her a home, I decided that since she liked me and the garage so much, I would keep her. After trips to the vet for shots, spay, etc, It was fate...Tigger the Garage Cat was an official member of the family! She had a heated bed, blankets and a water bowl that never freezes for winter. For Summer she had screens in the windows, window perches and a fan. When I came home from work, she would follow me up to my parents house for a visit then a trip to the garden to help with the gardening. Tigger would carry strings on her back for tying up the tomato plants between Mom & I as we called her back & forth. She was helping! She also helped dig the holes to plant seedlings. One of her summer events was to hold a garage sale each summer. She would climb up in the rafters of the garage and watch the customers from a "Cats" eye view. She knew of course that this sale was held in her honor and all the money was eventually for her!

Bio:
Tigger had a series of strokes when she was 8 years old and I had to have her put to sleep. It broke our hearts. She could no longer stand, walk, eat, drink or recognize us. She went to the rainbow bridge to wait for us.
