My New Catster Little Brother!

Okay, before you think the Wild Bunch got bigger, I have to tell you that my new little brother is my Catster little brother, not my real brother. I wish he was! Boy, could we wrestle!
His name is ZACK, just like my angel brother Zack.
He is black like me too. We both have white spots to accent our sleek black fur! Plus, he has a cute Tortie litter mate sister named ZOEY.

My real new baby sister (who doesn't have a Catster page yet) formally known as "the Attic kitten in my brother Zack's diary", and then as "Riza", is now called Zoe (Zo-Zo). That's a lot in common, right?
I am so excited to have a little brother because I am the youngest in the house. (Zo-Zo isn't in here with us yet, daddy just decided that they were going to keep her recently.) Mom says she will make her a page as soon as she has time to take some pictures.

But more about ZACK...I am going to watch out for him, and teach him everything I know. He's a great little guy, don't you think?
I'm going to go write to him right now.
See ya later!

Little Cat In BIG Trouble

I'm typing this tonight from Lizzy's doghouse.
I might be here for quite a while...
I did a b-a-a-a-d thing.

I broke "The Bowl".
*hides inside doghouse*
Yes, the famous bowl that most of us have our picture taken in.

Zack's bowl.

Momma cried.
It was in the bathroom, on the counter. It even had one of those gripper pads underneath it. But I came bounding in, jumped into the bowl, and flipped it off the counter. It hit the tile floor, and broke into lots of pieces. I quickly ran for cover before mom arrived to survey the carnage.

(Note from mom: The bowl was made by a friend who has since passed away. It was one of a kind...irreplaceable.)

Tomorrow is my first birthday too. I bet I don't get any special supper in the doghouse. Maybe Lizzy will let me have some of her biscuits. :(
I'm sorry mom. I didn't mean to do it.

(Note from mom: We still love you anyway Fisher. I will have to try to find another big bowl to continue the tradition. Don't worry, I have your birthday supper all planned, and two new toys.)

Fisher's School of Thought # 7

Kittenhood...It's good it lasts a year because you can get away with lots of stuff without getting in trouble...well, not too much. But it's nice to be a cat, and now that I'm a grown up one-year old, I can settle down and nap all day like my brofurs.

(Note from mom: yeah, r-i-g-h-t, I'll believe it when I see it.)

Luvs and fishy kisses,
Fisher~One Year Old!

Saturday...Yipee!!! A DP Again!!!

In Texas we have a saying to welcome people that weren't born a Texan. It goes something like this:

I wasn't born here, but I got here as soon as I could!

Well, I missed most of Saturday...but I got here as soon as I could!

I didn't even know I was a diary pick today, until our family friend, BUDDIE, wrote to me and said Congratulations!

I also got a beautiful gold star from three beautiful sisters, Chai, Little Bit, and Sugar Bear. Thank you ladies! Fishy kisses x 3!

And there was a blue ribbon from darling Sunflower, too! Thanks Sunny, for the cute picture!
(Don't worry Ravie, she's engaged)

Our dear orangie friends, KIBBLES, FRANCIS, and their angel brother, YODA, sent me an ice cream cone. That was just what I needed today, it was HOT!

Yay! Another treat for a hot day...Mickey, Mr. Fez and Linus sent me lemonade and a nice note. Thanks fella's!
This is turning out to be a swell day!

It's almost Catster midnight, but it's still Saturday in California, so my special friend, Raven sent me a crown to wear.
I told her I will wear it all day Sunday! You're the BEST, Ravie.

I have to tell you about my latest trick. I have decided that slipping between momma's feet, and dashing into the garage. every time she opens the door, is my new favorite game. For some reason, mom and dad don't enjoy it as much as I do! This morning, she was getting ready to leave for work, and I dashed out. "Oh FISHER", she said. I can tell when she says my name in CAPITOL LETTERS, so I hid.
I hid very well. She looked all over, then she went and got dad. Dad looked all over. No Fisher anywhere. Mom got to worrying that maybe I had climbed the cedar fence on the dog kennel. But Lizzy, our pooch, wasn't acting like anything was up. She tells on us if we get on the fence. I know she means it in a nice doggie way, though.
Then mom thought of one place she hadn't looked. She got down on the garage floor, and looked under this big wooden table that has a low shelf. There I was. Busted.
So I am on garage restriction today. No problem, lots of fun places to hide inside. :)

Thanks to my pals, for reading my diary, and thanks Miss Beautiful and KIND Diary Lady.
I will try to live an interesting life, hehehe.

Purrs and lots of fishy-tuna-breath-kisses, Fisher

HOLY MACKERAL!!!

It's O'Fish-Eel!!! I am the Diary of the Day!!!!

This is the most exciting thing to happen to me in all my l-o-n-g six and a half months of life!
Can it get any better??!! Uncle Wally, Auntie Oly, Ravie, did you see yet? That's ME on the homepage!!!
*puffs up chest proudly*

Many thanks to the lovely, and talented Diary Girl for this pawsome honor!

Today mom was laughing at me because I was laying down at the food bowl, chowing down. My big brother Xerox does this all the time, but dad says that's 'cuz he weighs over 20 pounds, and is lazy. (sorry Roxy)
Not me! There's not as lazy bone is Fisher! "bone in Fish-er...get it? *silly kitty grin*
Speaking of bones and fish...tonight was my Uncle Marc's birthday, and my pawrents and grandma, and the nieces got to go eat fish at a place called "Catfish Charlies". Mom brought hush puppies home for our doggie. (how appropriate, hehe) and shrimp tails home for us. The waitress looked at her very oddly when she asked for a to-go box for everyone's shrimp tails. But they were good and crunchy! There were three cats outside the restaurant too. Two orange and white tabbies and a gray and white tabby. I guess they found a good hangout! The orangies would let mom pet them, but the gray was a scardey cat. Everyone had to wait while mom sat on the steps and visited with them.
Okay, momma says I have to go back to bed now. You see, it's only three-thirty am here, and she has to go work out of town today.

I wish everyone a super cool day, just like the one I will be having! Yipee!

Fishy kisses all around!
Purrs, Fisher

I'm Back...Well Most Of Me!

I'M BACK!
Did you miss me? Momma sure did!
I was at the vets, but don't worry, I'm just fine! It was time for me to be a mancat!
I did great. I weigh 7.2 pounds now. I have some really good pain medicine, it's the kind that Zack had, it goes in my ears. Cool, huh? No pills, yay!
I have been chasing all over the house. Mom tried to make me stay quiet, but as my friend Hooch said, "good luck with that". "silly kitty grin"
I had a little trouble with my brofur Pete. He must have memory problems, because he forgets the cats that are away from home. So we have just about gotten re-acquainted.
Well, that's all from me tonight, it's supper time. *dashes off*

Fisher's School of Thought #6

Family Jewels...There's no use trying to hide the "family jewels" especially when a master "pick-pocket" is around. You can even sit on them, and it won't do a bit of good. But some advice for you young toms...it's not so bad, and you can still play it up and get some extra treats out of the deal!

Goodnight purrs from Fisher,
(not a baby anymore) :)

Adventure

Guess what I did today...other than getting into a lot of trouble...

I ran around in the attic! Wow, it's another world up there!
Now, I must tell you, I was not supposed to do that. Mom says it is too hot, and too dangerous.
Dad was moving some boxes, and left the stairway down. I have gotten into this bad habit of making a dash into the garage every time the back door opens.
Once I even slipped out, unnoticed, and I had to meow at the door to get let back in.
So daddy had to get me down, and I was panting and hot. Mom says I am not winning any brownie points with this behavior. But it's f-u-n...*evil kitten grin*

My friend, Frankenstein (yes, that's his real name) (he's a cool dude}
posted a link to a cute game called "Circle the Kitty". You try to keep the cat from escaping by clicking on dots to encircle him. Mom tried twenty times, and the cat always got out, like me, MOL! Dad said "Let me try" and got it the first time. That's why he is the Alpha of our house.

If you want to give it a try, here is the URL, courtesy of Frankie:

http://www.members.shaw.ca/gf3/circle-the-cat.ht ml

Note from mom: When you paste that link, be sure to close the gap between "ht ml". It is all one word, but for some reason Catster breaks it when I put it in the diary. Enjoy!

Fisher's School of Thought # 5

Attics...Attics are H-O-T. I think they are best left to the boxes and dust bunnies...wait a minute...BOXES?
Maybe I will explore again when the weather is cooler.
*evil kitty grin*

Fishy kisses,
Fisher (six months old in two weeks!)

The Technique of the Drawer Climb

May 22nd 2009 10:49 am

Hiya pals.
My friend Ivan asked me how I got into a drawer.
Well, first, I have to admit that my sister, Ivy was the one who invented it, and she taught Larke, and Larke taught me.

(you will see by the scratches ALL over the wood, that it is a popular pastime)

I couldn't explain it very well in a pmail, so momma took some pictures.
She's putting them on as soon as I finish my diary. Hope you like them!

Yikes...Kit-napped!

I was minding my own business, sleeping in a kitchen drawer actually, when Daddy's big hands scooped me up, and away I went to the vet.

DAD! I feel fine. I'm good, daddy, r-e-a-l-l-y.
*nervous purr*

Well, it wasn't all that bad, except when the lady rudely poked that popsicle stick thing in my...well my...uh...bum.
She was digging for worms...in Fisher. hahahaha (I can laugh now)

Anyhow...I didn't have any, SO THERE!
And no fleas either. :)
In fact, the doc said I was perfect, AND a good looking kitten!
*puffs his chest out*
I weighed 3.6 pounds, just right since I am 3 1/2 months old now.

So that is my report for today. Hope you will come by and see me sometime.

Purrs and fishy kisses,
Fisher

Oh, I almost forgot...

Fisher's School of Thought #4

Drawers...When drawers are obviously perfect for cats and kittens to sleep in, then why do humans insist on filling them up with stuff to get in our way?

See ya!

Dog Days

April 2nd 2009 8:43 pm

It was another day of play, nap, eat, nap, play, nap, eat, nap, play.
Being a kitten is just about the best thing there is.
I guess being a puppy would be fun too. Long ago there used to be Chocolate Lab puppies here. Zack remembers them. They smelled funny. Our doggie Mocha, once had 13! OMC, I can't imagine that. Puppies everywhere. Our doggie now doesn't have puppies. She's nice. I met her on my very first day here. She is very gentle with us all. If you want to see her page, go and say hello to Lizzy. She has a new Kimi picture that Uncle Wally made for her. Liz calls him "Waddy". Doggies talk funny.
*Yawn* It's past my bedtime, so let me give you my thought for today.

Fisher's School of Thought #3

Toys...The price you pay for a toy, has no relation to the amount of fun you can have with it. To illustrate this please take a look at my photo's on the second page, with the toilet paper tube. I hope you like them.

Another Fun Day

I discovered the joy of ping pong balls today! I can chase them all over. I can even chase them in the big bowl! Mom likes it because the ball rattles, and she can tell where I am.
I also took a nap across Larke today. Sprawled all across her. She's soft!
I usually sleep cuddled with Claire. Claire is all mushy. Mom says that's "fat". Claire says it's love handles. :)

Before I go to bed, I better give you my thought for today.

Fisher's School of Thought #2

Cameras...When you're little and cute, there's NO USE trying to avoid them. I already found it's best to just stop playing, and pose, and then the big people will leave you alone....maybe.

Goodnight purrs,
Baby Fisher
