Arrival Story:
We found Bella in London, when we were on holiday. She was a stray and was being fed by a friend of ours but our friend was going away. Bella had been used as a football by a gang of boys. We couldn't leave her - it was a very cold Winter, so she came home with us and our then 3 Maine Coons. She had to be segregated pending her blood tests. It was an experience taking on an ill treated cat. She had to be sedated for the vet to clip her claws for the first 2 years. It took a long time to gain her trust. Now she is around 16 and has mellowed. She often sits next to us on the sofa and will even sit on our knee. We always feel a little sorry for her because over the years, we have brought in these tiny kittens who grow into huge adults. Bella is tiny! She has a huge personality though and we think she feels she is the 'special' one not those silly old posh pedigrees. She may well be right.......
