My short time here...

Hello, and Goodbye

This will be my only diary entry. My name is Friend. I was rescued by Molly. Since I had no where to go, I followed Molly everywhere.

I was severely injured and went to Rainbow Bridge today. It was a slow journey because I would not let the human, Molly's mom help me. She took a picture of me while I was sleeping, but still alive. That is the one on my page. You cannot see my injuries.

I am at peace now. Molly is once again alone. I will still be with her once my broken kitten body is restored...that's right I am a kitten.
I am just under a year old.

I just want to say that I love you Molly. And to Molly's human mom, I regret not trusting you sooner. You cared for me and stayed with me as I crossed the bridge. For that, I love you too.

I just wanted to belong somewhere. Now I realize that I did have a home. And I had a name! I guess I was luckier than most kitties in my predicament.

As I leave this world for the bridge, I look back with love in my heart. I did belong to someone after all.
