Birthday: November 11th 2000 Coloration: Gray and White Likes: Mitt enjoys hanging out with his cat brothers, jumping off the roof of my house (seriously!) Pet-Peeves: not being allowed outside, empty food bowl, stinky litter box Favorite Toy: he doesn't play much with humans, just the other cats Favorite Nap Spot: in the bed, a sunny window or the closet Favorite Food: food. he does not beg, though and is not a pest like his brother curry Skills: opposable thumbs, leaping off of tall things repeatedly for ammusement, oh and the uncanny to vocalize in a totally human-sounding way (have mistaken him for my roommate's 3yr old several times - spooky) Dwells:
indoors and outdoors Arrival Story: Mitt was abandoned when his mistress passed away. Bio: Another neighbor and I share "custody" of Mitt. He eats twice a day, once at my house and once 3 doors down. He prefers the sun on my porch, but the quiet and smaller dogs at the neighbor's place so he usually sleeps over. Mitt and The Shadow are still tight and like to tomcat around the 3-5 yard area and patrol the common woods behind the neighborhood. They do not stray far and usually come running from some corner/bush/porch when called (or the food tin is rattled). Mealtimes at my house are a community gathering, and its typical to see The Shadow, Mitt Romney, Saffron (neighbor's kitty from across the way) and others sharing a bowl. Lives Remaining: 7 of 9 The Groups I'm In: FANCYPANTS CAFE, Cotton Ball Kitties, Kitties Who Need Friends, The Cute Pets and Adopt me's
Despite his age, Mitt is very smart and spunky. He has learned quickly that he has a new home and will go out during the day now and will sit quietly and patiently to be let back in!
So, I thought I found a nice home but with the economy being what it is the nice family that wanted me lost their home and moved into a tiny apartment that doesn't accept pets.
I am back "home" now, and want to send a special shout out to my buddies that sent the hamburgers...Curry ran away, so I ate his too. mmmmm. Thank you!!!
My brother and I were adopted by a friend of the family. She is a nice lady with some kids and other pets (lucky for us the other pets are little tiny dogs and we are sure we will have no problem establishing ourselves at the top of *that* food chain). We like kids especially, because they leave people food out where we can reach it. muahahahaha!
Hopefully we will be in our new home in time to climb new mama's Christmas tree!
i still miss my old mom and go to her house almost every day to see if she has come back...but she never does. but whoever buys her house or is thinking of buying it i hope they like kitties because me and my brother would love to visit you every day and jump up in your window and talk to you! we also hope you like to feed the birdies like our previous mom milly did because we like to watch them and chase them...and maybe sometimes eat one or two of the ugly ones. :P
