I've Been On Catster Since:
So I thought leaving my vitamins on top of the refrigerator they would be safe from kids and animals. I made the mistake of leaving fish oil pills and flaxseed oil pills there. One day after work my youngest daughters says eew, mom what IS this? She then hands me the gel casing to a fish oil pill. I didn't think anything of it, because Riley has tried to eat these before. I assumed I dropped one and she got ahold of it. It wasn't until I was in the kitchen and I noticed that the fish oil pills were not in their usual spot. I look around and low and behold they are on the floor with several of them spilled out around the bottle. Chewed up ones, I might add! Hmm, I thought she must have accidentally knocked it over when she was on TOP of the refrigerator. She got lucky because instead of a screw off top it has a flap lid like the ones they put on spice bottles and it popped open when it hit the floor. Well luck may have played a roll the first day, but the next day the flaxseed oil vitamin bottle was knocked over in the other direction and landed on the counter, and low and behold chewed up flaxseed oil pills around the bottle! The bottles are identical, so I'm sure she was trying to get to the fish oil again. She figured out what was in the bottles and how to make them open up! Needless to say I had to find a new place for my vitamins.
