Easter

Purrrrs.... Sorry I haven't written in awhile, we've all been so busy with this N that, you know how it goes sometimes. So, Happy belated Easter to all my kitty friends! I hope the Easter bunny gave you all lots of goodies! I got a ginormous basket from him! It had tons and tons and tons of toys and other goodies. About a week and a half before Easter mommy had a little talk with me. She said that the Easter bunny only visited good kitties! She reassured me that I am a VERY good kitty, but that the biting has to stop. I listened very intently, and even scribbled down a few notes! (Don't tell, but I scribbled them on the floor under the bed! lol... hey, it's not like mommy and daddy can crawl under there and see it!) So anyway, I tried very very very hard not to bite no one, and for the most part, I did a great job! Only a few *nibbles* once in awhile while playing! :-) So the night before Easter mommy kissed me and we snuggled and she said in the morning there would be a surprise for me!!!! YAY! Well, Easter morning I got up very early and looked everywhere, but I couldn't find anything... :-( I cried and cried and tried to tell mommy and daddy. But they were lazy and slept until NOON!!!!!!!! NO FAIR! So, when they finally got up, daddy helped me look, and that darn Easter bunny had hidden my basket in a closed closet waaaaay up high on the very top shelf! How did that silly bunny expect lil old me to reach up there? Well it's ok though, cuz I got it, and we opened everything, and made a huge mess that daddy got to clean up...lol! I've never seen so many toys in my life! Man I musta been a very good girl! Mommy is gonna post some Easter pics and vids tonight so you all can see how much fun it was.

Well, I think it's time to go harrass daddy... he's playing Resident Evil 5, and tends to get a lil mad during it, soooo.... hehehe... yeah, ATTACK!

Tummy Ache

I had a tummy ache this morning :-( Daddy went to bed at 4am, and mommy went to bed at 5am. I started crying really loud as soon as mommy went to bed. She kept getting up and coming into the living room to play with me, and pet me. She gave me fresh water, and more food, thinking I would be quiet. But I kept crying. Mommy tried getting me to lay down in bed with her and daddy like I usually do, but I just didn't want to! I didn't feel good, and I couldn't get mommy to understand that... When daddy got up today he found a big pile of throw-up! OOPS! He cleaned it up, and cuddled with me until mommy got up. Luckily he wasn't mad at me! I feel much better now, I'm eating and drinking, playing and napping. Hmm... maybe it was that jelly bean I found... lol

So sad

I was sad today. Daddy left at 8AM to go to the hospital because Aunt Cindy was supposed to have her kidney removed. He gave mommy a hug and kiss goodbye, then gave me a kiss goodbye, and left. I walked over to the door and cried very loudly... *MRRRROOOOOOOOWWW* That's what I said. I said it a few times. Mommy called me and I ran over and jumped on her lap. She asked me if I wanted her to call daddy. I replied with a purr. That means Yes. So she called him, but he was driving and doesn't talk while driving, so she left him a message. That satisfied me. Me and mommy played for awhile and then went and layed down. I fell asleep on mommy's tummy, and we woke up at 12:30 when daddy came home. Boy was I happy to see him! I wish daddy never had to leave.... why can't he stay at home like mommy?

Paper!!!

Tonight I discovered how much fun paper can be! I was just wandering around the house, and I saw a pile of papers sitting on the floor. I didn't think much of it at first... I mean, paper??? How much fun can that be? But then, I touched it! And I liked it! So what do you think I did? Did I just walk away? HA! No way! I attacked! I mean, I ATTACKED!!!!!!!!!!! Oh boy it was so much fun! Heavenly! I scattered it all over the place, I pounced on it, I layed on it, I scratched at it... I did everything I could to it! And the best part of it all, no one got mad at me! Mommy, daddy, and auntie Marry just sat there laughing! Oh it was great!

"OUCH, My Eye!"

When mommy and daddy brought me home I had just finished antibiotics for an URI. 5 days after being in my new home my left eye started hurting a little. I'm tough though, so I tried not to let it show... but mommy noticed some thick, white liquid running out of it. She got really scared! She was wiping my eye with a warm wet washcloth, which I HATED!!!!! I tried to bite and scratch her... that was not nice of me, but I was scared. Then mommy called the Emergency Vet Clinic. A nice DR told her about a vitamin called L-Lysine, which you buy at the grocery store. She told mommy to go buy a bottle of it, and crush it into a fine powder, and sprinkle half of it onto my food twice a day. Guess what?? It has no taste, and no odor! I didn't even know I was eating it!!!! And now, my eye is all better!! Mommy forgave me for being mean to her when she was only trying to help me!
