New scratching post climbing thing!!!

Well when I first came to my home mom bought me a little scratching post from the store. It is the little black one in my pictures from when I was really little. Well for some reason Bandit (my dog brother) decided he needed to chew the WHOLE thing to pieces. I don't know if he gets mad when they leave him alone or just bored but he shredding my entire favorite toy!

After about three weeks of not having anything to jump and scratch on and mom getting real mad at me for doing it to her couches she bought me home a new present. It was a huge scrathcing post thingy. I love it. She said that I better love it because she made it. This one is a lot bigger with a big box area I can go in and sleep, three different size legs I can jump and scratch on , and a top that is tile so it is nice and cool plus I am too high for the kids or dogs to get to me. Oh yea and it has this little arm thing that hang a toy down, that part is great too! After dad got hom mom said see isn't that better then me spending $200 on one of those. Dad was even pretty impressed.

Well all and all I love my new toy!!! Oh yea my new toy is the thing I am laying on in the new pictures. :)

Wow the outdoors!

Well the last week I have been allowd outside. Actualy I snuck outside when the front door was open. It is crazy outside! I told everyone about these chickens that dad brought home a month ago and I was bigger then them. Well now these bird things are twice my size. When I go outside I sit and look at those big birds. I put my paw in there cage and one pecked at my toe! How that got me going and I ran right to the door to go back inside. Mom and dad started laughing at me, I didn't think it was that funny.

It has been breezy here and all of mom flowers start waving in the wind. I love chasing and attacking these "wild out of controll" flowers. Oh and the butterflies, I love chasing the butterflies also.

When I am down being outside I climb up the screan door and meow until they open the door. Mom says it is good that they have a metal screan door and not a regular one or I would be in trouble, whatever that means. Once everyone walks to the door I am usualy right behind them wanting to go inside I am still to little to be out here by myself. Daddy wants me to be an inside/outside kitty but mom wants me to be an inside kitty but let me play a little while outside.

I love playing outside with my human sister and brother. But the other day my human sister tried to take me on the trampoline and I was not having that. The crazy big dog here named Bandit loves to jump on the trampoline with the kids and he thinks it is fun. Well they put me on that trampoline and of course I was getting off as fast as I could. I scratched my human sister's face in the process. Mom was really mad at my human sister and explained that cats don't like trampolines. That I am not like Bandit and will jump with her. I rather be under that trampoline watching them jump, not on top of that thing.

Now I am playing with Bandit. I am big and fast enough to dodge those big feet that he has. I wait under the couch and once he walks by there I go at his feet. It is so much fun!

Can you say CHICKENS!!!

My dad just brought home real live chickens last night. I saw a glimps of them and got SO excited. Mom made me leave the room that they put them in. They are small we all are probably about the same size actualy. Mom is thinking to let me go and look at them when dad gets home...Oooo... I really hope she lets me. I just love this place! I have got little kids, fish, dogs, and now chickens to play with.
