Punkin came to me as a stray, hanging out for 2 weeks at a hospital where I was working. I finally took her home and she stayed with me for 15 years. She crossed the bridge at the age of 16 of a brain tumor. I still miss her every day.
Bio:
One of the things I most enjoyed was dancing around the room with my mom--we loved to waltz and foxtrot cheek-to-cheek.
I used to be able to jump to the top of the curio cabinet in the living room and gaze down on everyone while they looked everywhere for me.
I was queen of my domain until Mom and Dad brought home Miss Pepper. When she was a puppy, I had to train her properly by swatting her on the nose when she got out of line. I think she thought this was a form of endearment. *giggles*. Of course, I grew to love her very much and we shared our beds and blankies.
I loved fishy food best of all and also curling up right against my mom, wherever she was sitting. I was a true cuddle-bug.
When I was getting ready to go to the Bridge, I just slept for hours on end in Mommy's closet. She knew when I was ready to leave, and held me while I went to sleep. She truly gave her heart and soul to me.
I am her guardian angel forever.
