Arrival Story:
This one-eyed beauty showed up on my doorstep semi starving and craving love. Hes got it in spades. The Clan have accepted him and that's fine by me. I'm keeping him. NOTE: We originally thought he was a she. Hey, there are some places I generally don't go, you know? :D

Bio:
Patch had one eye bigger than the other and suddenly it was growing larger. A frantic visit to our vet revealed he had advanced glaucoma in that eye. 24 hours later it was removed. That was six days ago. 24 hours after we brought him back home he suddenly stopped eating and drinking. I had to syringe feed him sweet water. Took him back to the vet today (darn holidays) and he was rehydrated and given a major pain shot and some anti-inflamms for removal area. That "eye" had swollen. He get another shot tonight and I think that will put us over the hurdle. He's a toughie. He'll make it. ------------ Patches died in my arms this evening (9/10/09) from complications of his surgery.
