Arrival Story:
She was on the corner or a very busy intersection crying and starving. Considering how scared she is, it was a miracle that she would be on that busy, loud street. She was pregnant (about 4 days) and had one kitten Boo. All I can think about is how miraculous it was that she was there considering how scared she is all the time. We saved two lives that day.

How I feel about getting Cat of the Week!

Considering how my life started, I have certainly come a long, long way. When mommy and daddy found me I was standing on one of the busiest intersections crying out loud and starving to death. All of a sudden I saw my soon to be mom and dad dodging traffic (people even beeped at them because they were annoyed) and running toward me. Even though I am the scardiest cat in the house and am almost always hiding, I was brave enough to finally go to daddy. The whole family thinks this is funny because daddy wasn't a cat person when mommy met him but he is getting really good at it now. Anyway, they took me home and my new sister didn't like it a bit. I was four days pregnant and even though mommy thought she was a real cat expert, she didn't even know about my kitten that was coming. They went away for the weekend and while they were gone I decided to have my one and only kitten Boo Radley right in the middle of the bed under the covers. When daddy got home he put his suitcase on the bed and narrowly missed Boo! He raised up the covers because he saw a bump and started screaming something at mommy about "KALLI HAD A KITTEN!!" and mommy thought he was kidding. When she finally came over and saw what I was done she was happy and worried....worried that there were others. She looked everywhere and could see that Boo was the only one. Sister Scout had a brother now! Now I don't have to very scared anymore. Only sometimes when people come over and I have to run somewhere to hide but that's OK. I have lots to eat, 4 other cats in the house (including my son of course) and now I am Cat of the Week! Life just doesn't get a lot better does it?
