Arrival Story:
Emmaline Ellen was born into a household who loved her but could not care for her. She and her brother Henry were adopted by a friend of the family who promptly gave them their present names. Emmaline was terrified in her new home. She hid under the couch for two weeks and only came out in the wee hours of the morning to eat and use the litter box. After much love and patience, Emmaline finally developed into an elegant feline with a grace and beauty of her own. She has lived in four states and seven cities since her life began in 2004.
Bio:
Emmaline is skittish and antisocial, but she does have a sweet side. When least expected, she will walk up and squeak for attention (she doesn't meow). She head-butts to show her affection and appreciation.
