There has been a little dog in the house since last Tuesday and I don't think she is leaving. I have been keeping my distance. The only dog I have ever known was Sasha, and she was really good with us cats. This new one is small but feisty.
At first the little dog was kept in a crate which was nice, but she has been allowed out more and more frequently. TT isn't really afraid of her, he has even headbutted her twice! She doesn't chase us around, mom says she is afraid of us.
She thinks all food is for her. She does a crazy food dance, dogs are so strange!
Mom is hoping that everybody learns to get along real soon, and considering it has only been one week, we are all doing pretty good!
We know how you feel, I don't like doggies, I just tolerate ours...Our doggies think all food is theirs too so Mom has to feed us in areas they can get to.
WE all hope you will get along....little doggies can be fun sometimes...I just sit and watch them be crazy!
At least there are 2 of you and only 1 of her! We are so happy for your new addition to the family. Look forward to watching cute Gia grow up.

Well, Tash, you know I'm TERRIFIED of D-O-G-S because they scared me when they barked int he shelter. But Meowm says that little Gia is ADORABLE. So I guess I have to side with Meowm.
CONCATS and PURRRRRS....
Let the dog be afraid, be afraid.....
You must protect your food. Think of the dog as a big cat, like me!
Congrats on your mew doggie sister...just make sure she knows your cats are boss!
tasha, i bet this bat-alike-contest winner with strange behaviour was chosen very carefully. sure no d-o-g was allowed to join your family if she wasn't either obedient when cats m-ouw - or at least afraid of you and tt. give her a chance!
diesel-engine prrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrs for your domestic peace...
Concats (I think), on your new family member. Hope you become great friends.
My mom says "congratulations!!!" But I say...hrmph! mol! Well since its a small dog, I'm sure you can put her in her place in no time ;) Soon she'll see who is queen of the castle!! Hang in there...I know you'll be best buddies in no time!
Thanks everyone!! Ish, she does look like a bat! Last night I reclaimed my spot on the couch next to mommy. I had been avoiding the room with the "bat-alike-contest winner" in it for a week, but I finally got the courage to go back. Everything was fine! I'll keep you guys posted!
Just make sure she knows you cats are in charge, Tasha!
