I wanted to let you know that my dog Sasha lost her battle with leukemia yesterday. She was 12 years old.
I am used to snuggling with her every morning after mommy leaves to go to work. Daddy would always see us. I don't know who will keep me warm now, I can't depend on any warmth from that boney TT.
I wanted to thank everyone for their purrs and thoughts, it's not gonna be easy learning to live without her.

Some of you may know my Dog Sasha. She is a really good dog, I've known her practically my whole life!
Sasha was recently diagnosed with leukemia, she is getting chemo treatments, but this cancer is not curable.
I have been spending my time helping to take care of Sasha. The other morning, Sasha didn't want to eat her food, so I volunteered to eat it for her. It didn't take long for her to notice my helpfulness; she soon gave me the "pig eye" and finished her food herself. Your welcome Sash!
I also try to sleep with her often, I may be tiny but I am a great heat source!
This morning, Mom got up and let Sasha outside. I wasn't fully awake yet, but I went to the window to see the yard... There was an animal in the yard! A trespasser!! I immediately puffed out all my fur and began paddling the window. GO AWAY TRESPASSER! MY DOG IS OUT THERE!! The animal started coming toward the house! I was ready, surely this trespasser would see my fury through the window! Daddy opened the door and let the trespasser right into the house! It then became clear that this animal was actually Sasha. Oops, my bad!
Anyway, any purrs for my Sasha would be appreciated :)

Dear Catster/Dogster,
Please release Luke and Gizmo from the cat/dog of the week spots. It was wonderful to read all about them but now I would like to see another cat/dog honored there. My good furiend River tagged me, so here it goes.......
Name the 5 most annoying things your humans do:
1)Being picked up. Mommy picks me up all the time~ I don't like it!
2)Mommy makes me wait for food between meals. I need to eat between meals! I'm hungry!
3)I don't like having my nails trimmed~ I need them long and pointy!
4)I've mentioned this one before: during couch time, mommy should NOT move! I don't like to be bounced around!
5)Mommy does not always listen to me~ I have a lot to say and when I meow for her to play with me, why can't she just stop what she is doing and get my wand toy??? I LOVE my wand toys!

Hi furs!
We have been furry busy here in RI counting snowflakes!! There have been plenty to count! Mom got a good pic for the game.
Unfortunately, we can't get the picture link to work for our diary~ so if you want to play, we will post the pic on our page. Has anyone else had a problem?

Fellow furs~
I ate breakfast this morning!! Mommy is thrilled and she says she can see the light is back in my eyes again!
The vet said that I had Pancreatitis. TT had it too, but mine was much worse and lasted much longer. Mom does not understand how we got it.
There is much happiness in my home this morning!! Thank you all for your purrs!!

If you told me a week ago that my beautiful girl, always hungry would no longer eat, it would have been hard for me to believe.
If you told me just days ago that I would be spending the latter part of this week trying to get anything into her: baby food, dry food, turkey and medicine and that I would be rushing her to the vet for the second time in days for fluids yesterday, I would have found it hard to imagine.
If you told me this morning that tonight she would come into the kitchen crying for a meal, and then actually eat most of what I gave her, I would have wanted to believe you in the worst way.
Tasha just ate most of a meal~ please purr that she continues to eat, and gets back to her spunky self soon.
