to be petted!!! she will climb out of her skin to be petted. she is an attention glutton! and talk....this cat does not shut up! she will hold a conversation with you.
not enough food in the dish and not enough attention given to 'herself'.
catnip balls, mice, boxes and bags are the best.
Favorite Nap Spot:
on my bed next to the stuffed animals on there
on a special diet- Hills K/D and Hairball Lite
talking non stop when you are trying to go to sleep. like she has to discuss her whole day with you when you are ready to go to sleep.
she was adopted by me from another cat rescuer who needed homes for some. she was an older cat who no one wanted, so i took her. Sarah is a sweet cat. she is a big talker tho. if truth be known, i think she has a little Siamese in there somewhere. she was rescued from an abandoned barn where she and several other 'throw-aways' were seeking shelter and trying to stay alive. there wasn't any food there, so the cats living there were very thin and hungry, all they had to eat was whatever they could find in hunting field mice. she and the rest were trapped in humaine traps, neutured, tested, vaccinated and taken in by the rescurer until homes could be found for them. most were adult cats, and homes don't come easily for adult cats...everyone wants a cute kitten, thats why i adopted her. they all should be given a chance, not just the cute kittens; cute kittens still grow up to be cats, and 'cats' are still living, breathing, feeling creatures...they are 'all' God's creatures, and deserve a forever home and love.
with heavy heart, i am updating my Sara's page...she passed away this last fall of kidney failure. because she was adopted as an adult, i really don't know her true age. she could have been as old as 18yrs when she passed. she was a true treasure and will be very missed.
God bless you, my Sara, we'll meet again...i'm sure.
God Bless all those that try to help the poor unwanted animals. like the person from whom i adopted Sarah from. she had a lot of cats that needed homes. she was over whelmed like many are. please, if you can, give just one more homeless animal a home this year....you'll make a difference and save a friend.
