Arrival Story:
April 4, 2009 --- Sonya lived with her foster Mom in La Puente, CA for over a year without being adopted. We became friends with her foster Mom via Catster and we kept tabs on how Sonya was faring. Last week we went to California from PA to visit cousins and adopted Sonya while there.
She traveled back with us by plane and was patient and calm throughout the trip.

Sonya is sequestered in the back bedroom getting acclimated to our home and is doing great!
----------------- April 8th, 2009 -- Sonya has is free to go anywhere she desires in our home. There was quite a bit of hissing from her for several days which was due to the stress of her CA to PA trip and getting introduced to her new fur siblings. Today she spent hours looking out of our bedroom windows at the snow showers. It was her first glimpse of snow which they do not get in sunny LA :-) Sonya is now much more mellow and will constantly purr whenever she sees us. -----------------
May 7th, 2009 -- I had a great party for my third birthday!! Everything was wonderful except for that darn happy birthday hat LOL -------------------
