Arrival Story:
I work for a Vet. in a small dog and cat hospital. we are located near 'nice' housing projects in a suburb. one day a lady came in, in tears, carring a box with a mother stray cat and her 3 kittens in it. she told of older boys (neighborhood boys) in her 'nice' development taking these kittens and throwing them in a neighbors pool to watch them drown. the poor mother cat tried to jump in and did save two of her babies, but was tiring and the kids kept throwing the kittens in for her to rescue. two did drown. the lady rescued the mother and remaining 3 kittens and brought them in to see if anyone wanted them. i took them, found homes for the kittens and kept the mother- Felia.
Bio:
it seems that we are a throw away society. we move and leave our pets to fend for themselves. why???? the pain and hell that these poor animals suffer, is totally uncalled for. if you can't take your pets when you move, be responsible, find them homes. they never asked to belong to you!
