My Life in the Penthouse Suite

Change of address

I haven't posted for quite a while but I have news. I've moved from our bungalow to our 'big house' on the hill. Mom is building a little cottage in the backyard and I get to watch the construction process from my penthouse suite. My new digs should be done by the end of February. In the meantime, I'm enjoying being the project foreman. My desk is a window bench with about 20 silk pillows.

Roofers (argh!!)

We're having a new roof put on the house so I was in low crawl mode all morning. Deb felt sorry for me and let me run in the walk-in closet so I could hide in my favorite (but forbidden) spot ... on top of her cashmere sweaters. We live in Georgia! What does she need those things for anyway?! The men told her they would probably be there for two days. I'm going to lose my mind if they don't finish up soon! I see some extra treats in my immediate future.....

Yippee!!

She said I can stay! She said I can stay! After four months of being the best boy I could possibly be, Deb has decided to keep me! Maybe I'll see if I can break something today since my future with her is cemented....
