Hiding, butt skritchies.
People, trips to the v-e-t.
Mina Mouse, paper wads, and twisties.
Favorite Nap Spot:
She doesn't have one--she likes variety.
The leftover milk at the bottom of a bowl of cereal.
She sits, shakes (gives paw), stands on hind legs, and spins, as long as there are cat cookies involved. She is also expert at vanishing into thin air.
A friend and I went to a local park for a late summer hike after work. Back at the parking lot after our hike, my friend exclaimed, "Look!" Three stripy kittens were watching us from a wooded area just off the parking lot. We lured the two gray ones out by rustling twigs in the grass, but the brown and black one wouldn't come anywhere near us and ran when we approached her. I took the two gray ones home, fully intending to take them to the humane society (yeah, right), since I already had Heloise and Abelard. I came back to the park with a metal cage and managed to lure the third kitten into it with kitten chow in strategically placed piles. I found another home for the boy kitty, but the girls, now known as Fortuna and Carmina, seem to have moved in permanently.
Mina is a super spazz. The least little noise or movement sends her several inches off the ground. But she has the loudest purr of all.

My human got an e-meowl from Catster a couple of days ago, and my picture was in it! At first she didn't think anything of it, but then it occurred to her that my picture must have gone out to everyone on Catster who got that e-meowl. Since it was a mewsletter encouraging Catsters to sign up for the Daily Tip E-meowl, the Catster people used the picture of me checking my own e-meowl on my MacBook. Check it out in the archives if you didn't get it: http://www.catster.com/newsletter/index.php?i=143
I like to use the computer, especially to buy things online. My human hid the credit cards from me, but it doesn't matter, because I memorized the account numbers! In fact, I bought her this computer for Christmas last year! I let her think it's her computer, but of course it's really mine. The other two cats aren't as interested in using computers as I am, although my stripy sister Fortuna likes to swat at the cursor as it moves around the screen.
I've got to go now. Since I'm a spazz, my attention span is short. Besides, there are Mina Mice that I absolutely have to go find and carry all around the house.
