Being pet, and cuddled, and being fed, and crowding her humans with so much love it's sickening, and chasing other cats off her property. Oh yeah, and licking her people.
Dogs, other cats, not being pet, cats who scratch and bite their people, and getting locked outside.
Feather Ball and the neighborhood cats. They give her good exercise when she chases them away.
Favorite Nap Spot:
Anywhere next to her people.
Any kind of cat food - no human food, not even milk. She hates it.
Yeah. She doesn't run away and knows how to heel like a dog, outside, without a leash.
indoors and outdoors
Well, we went into the local shelter to find a cat, specifically, a siamese. The lady there showed us every cat they had, but none of them were siamese or siamese-ish. Then, we told her, "Well, we're actually looking for a siamese or a siamese mix." and she smiled and opened a door and there Mai-Lin sat on a computer chair, sharing a room with a pot bellied pig, a little siamese mix. Right there, we knew she was the one! We asked how much she was and the lady replied, "Well she's not in the system yet....so 20 bucks." We took her home that night. They told us she was blind, she's not. Just VERY cross eyed. Couldn't have asked for a better kitty - she is such a love!
She's such a sweet kitty. Her heart is as big as she is! Making sure she is giving love and affection to her people is her number one priority! Matched only by food, of course. She IS the queen of the house....the queen of the world. She hates to be left alone without her human servants and when we all come home she's always right there waiting for us. Mai-Lin loves to go wherever we go, may it be from one room to the next or even in the car. Only going outside if we go do and once out, she walks right by your heel off leash as good as gold. And if she strays off to far, she is quick to return once you call her name. She doesn't need a carrier when we go to the vet, she just sits politely next to you or on your lap and doesn't even move when a dog, no matter what size, sniffs her and walks by. She knows she's the queen, both dogs of the household respect her as if she were a goddess....wait a minute....she IS a goddess.
Also, she is the lickiest kitty in the whole world! She doesn't bite, scratch, hiss or anything...just licks, even when you are giving her a bath.
She is on a diet and losing weight slowly but surly.
