Birthday: May 1st 2003 Coloration: Blue-Lynx Point Dwells:
indoors Arrival Story: Mercedes lived with a lot of other Himalayans next door to my Mom. When the neighbors got a divorce the wife left the cats with her ex-husband. He got tired of the cats and threw them all outside. Since they had only lived in the basement and never saw other humans we were very frightened. Mom tried to lure us in the house over many days. She only managed to get 2 of us. She adopted my sister out and kept me. Bio: I'm still a very aloof kitty but can be vocal and affectionate at times. My fur gets to be a mess so Mom keeps me shaved down. Mom would like to find me a home where I'm an only kitty and only pet. Lives Remaining: 9 of 9 Forums Motto: Doen't anyone realize I'm royalty?

I really don't like it around here. There are too many animals and they all seem to pick on me. I'm a delicate flower and really really need a new home. Mom keeps my hair trimmed because they can't groom me as I need to be groomed. I do take the trimming well. Mom has no serious wounds.
I need a home where I'll be happy. Mom is willing to travel a bit if you know of someone who would love a Himalayan that didn't get a great start in life.
We all have special guests in our home. Mom brought home a Kitty Mama and her five kittens on May 14th. We get to foster these kittens until they are old enough to be put up for adoption. Mom is really excited since she hasn't had a Momcat and her kittens since last years litter of 7. Mom says they became a real handful running about and doing kitten stuff. Mom gets to name these kittens but she says she won't name them until they are bigger and their personalities show. Mom thinks she is going to make a catster page just for them so she can share all the fun stuff.
Mom cat is really nice and doesn't mind anyone coming in to give her a hand with the kittens. They are in the closet of the spare bedroom right now but in a week or so Mom with let Mom cat out for a break. She snuck out once and mom found her in the living room with the dogs like she owned the place so she isn't worried about Mom and the rest of the family. Chessie can't wait until he can help mother the kittens. Mom will probably let him in to see Mom and kittens before everyone else.
If you use Internet Explorer and have stopped by our pages only to not be able to see any thing give Gypsy's diary a read. IE had a bug which kept it from seeing the same thing as Mom saw in Firefox.
Mom says sorry, she should have been checking IE. She knows better than to assume it reads CSS correctly.
