Arrival Story:
Maggie and Aggie were adopted from the Peggy Adams Animal Rescue in Palm Beach County, Florida. Clawdius Meowximus was born to a friend's little tuxedo cat who snuck out for a couple of days and came home pregnant. Purrcilla Softpaws was a little stray that I saw peering at me one day as I looked out my living room window. I fed her on and off for over a month and finally, on June 26th, 2012 (Claw's 4th Gotcha Day) I was able to scoop her up and bring her inside. Another tuxie showed up at our house in early November 2012 and on Thanksgiving Day, November 22, 2012, he joined our family. Our new furbaby is Stryder. April 24, 2013 - we had to gently and lovingly let our precious girl Aggie make her journey to Rainbow Bridge. In March she was diagnosed with a malignant tumor above the soft palate (lymphoma) and we tried to keep her comfortable with shots of steroids which helped her at first but eventually the shots stopped working, she could not eat and was suffering. Our hearts are broken, she was a very special kitty with an old soul and a heart of gold. She was the caregiver in the family and there is a huge void in our family without our beautiful girl. R.I.P. precious one, we love you forever and we will all meet again on the other side. April 2014 - my husband rescued Bell Bunnycat, a little stray that showed up at his job in Belle Glade, FL. November 2015 - I rescued Travis Mac Meowster, a little orange boy who just walked out of the Nantahala Nationa Forest where we live in Murphy, NC.
