Arrival Story:
Monique was the cutest kitty at the shelter, so I assumed that many people would be interested in her. However, when I asked for an adoption form, they said no one had shown any interest. It was meant to be. Her first day home, the shelter said to let her slowly learn her new environment. She walked out of her carrier like she owned the place, proceeded to beg for my dinner and then napped on the chair next to me. That night, she kept me up by pacing back and forth on the bed non-stop. We've been best buds ever since.
Bio:
The shelter said that Monique had been tied to a post in front of the shelter and abandoned. Now she is a spoiled cat, sharing attention only with a silent tree-frog brother. She certainly lavishes her status and owns the house.
