Arrival Story:
I went to the shelter to get a cat. They were in the process of bringing in 37 cats that had been abandoned. There was at least 2 cats in each cage before the new ones were coming in. The people at the shelter told me that they were going to put down all the cats that were already there to make room for the new ones. I felt bad in not taking more than one, but Cassie struck my fancy. She was the smallest cat in there and looked emaciated. I bought her home that day.
