MeWow! I'm CAT OF THE DAY!

On September 16, 2011 -- Me -- yes--me MERCURY was declared CAT OF THE DAY by CATSTER. I never expected this and am SO honored. Thanks CATSTER -- and thanks ALL. Meowmy has promised numerous treats when she gets home in celebration of this HUGE honor and my fur sister Raven is going to be so jealous. Yes, me...MERCURY...CAT OF THE DAY!!! Purrs...

I'm Tricky!

I totally tricked my meowmy yesterday. She was reading a magazine in my favorite chair. Hey meowmy that's my chair!!! I decided what I would do is distract her. I rolled on to my back and slithered out from under the coach and meowed softly. I know exactly how irresistible to meowmy that makes me. She diligently got up and scooted over under the coach to pet me. While she was down on the ground, I leaped up and claimed the chair. I got my meowmy well trained. I'm tricky like that.

What's With the Camera Meowmy?

Now meowmy has always liked to take my picture...but lately she has become a bit obsessed. Something about Tabbies w/ Tude's producing a movie and promises of making me a "star"... Only problem is I like to be a little sneaky w/ my tude' ...exhibiting it when it's least expected. Like in the morning--when she is cameraless. That's when I like to leap on top of the closet door and look down on her. This always causes her to go running for her camera (look at meowmy go!!!) Soon as her back is turned I leap off that closet door. I never let her get THAT shot. Now that's a tabby with tude.

It's a Cat's Life..

Stretccch….time to get up! I hear noises in the kitchen and that means FOOD! I leap up onto the counter to secure first dibs at the chow and to get some extra rubs from my guardian. My guardian tends to be pretty frantic weekday mornings, so I want to make sure I get mine while the getting is good. My sis Raven and our temporary boarder Velvet are also on hand to make sure that the food is distributed in an equitable manner. I know sis Raven doesn’t like Velvet that much. But I think while Velevt is a little moody (what woman isn’t?) in general she’s really swell. Raven is all about the cat dancer and she occasionally allows me to give her a bath (hee), but Velvet will actually play with me!! What’s not to like about that? OOOOH, the guardian just took out CATNIP. I LOVE CATNIP!!! I must go, will continue this later... WOOT! WOOT I mean MROW! MROW!
