Hi again.

Greetings everybody!
It's been a while since I last wrote in my diary.
I have been very busy sleeping, napping and resting - it really takes it out of me!!
It's winter here in Australia and I like to snuggle up inside and keep nice and warm. I still love to go outdoors too but I'm spending more time inside in the warm at present.
My Mum has been very busy too (NOT sleeping, napping and resting). She loves cats (me especially...) and has even opened her own little gift shop on-line selling cat and teddy bear items.
She really, really loves cats!

Meows to everyone. It's been a long time but finally I'm giving you a bit of an update. I have been such a busy little man. Sleeping and napping really wears me out!
My Mum re-arranged the furniture in the living room and I have claimed one of the recliners as my very own. It's in a great spot near the window and I can see all that is going on outside.
It's almost Christmas - that means gifts for me - yippee!
Then, next month it is my birthday - more gifts!!! I'll be 8 on my next birthday - Mum tells me I'll be a senior citizen (whatever that means).
I got a new toy on a string the other day - I love it. Mum and I play with it for ages and then I'm so tired I have to go to bed.
We have a new car and I'm supposed to stay off it so that I don't leave scratches all over it like I did with the old one but I love sleeping on the car.
I have a new human cousin - she's ok - she doesn't try to chase me - yet!
One of my other human cousins is walking on two legs now and she tries to steal my food!! (What a cheek)
Oh yeah, we have a Christmas tree!! Wow, that is so much fun. I don't know why my Mum doesn't like me climbing it. Isn't that what trees are for? There are all sorts of interesting things hanging on the tree (all cat designs) and I love playing with them all. I really can't understand why I am supposed to stay away from the tree and all those pretty things.
My Gran went away earlier this year. I can't find her anywhere. I looked and looked everywhere for her for weeks but Mum said she's not coming back. I miss sleeping on the bed with Gran. The bed is not the same without her.
Well, speaking of beds, I'm getting tired. Maybe I should go to bed. I could do with a good sleep.
Maybe I'll write in my diary again soon.

Birthday 2007 January 23

Hi everyone! Today is my 7th birthday!!! Yay!
I've had a lovely day. I slept. I rested. I napped. I ate. I got cards and gifts. I got stars and rosettes from my Catster friends - thank you all so much. Mum got a new camera the other day so of course I had to pose for birthday photos (I would have had to do that regardless of whether or not it was a new camera) - I'll get her to upload some for you to look at. I got a new collar which makes me look even more handsome than I already did look! Must go now. It's getting late and I've had a busy day so I should go to bed. Meows from Tigger.

Meow again!
I can't believe I'm writing in my diary again so soon!!
I hope you all like my new updated page with all the pretty red hearts on it. My Mum and I love red! It's our most very favourite colour in the whole wide world.
It'll be my birthday in a couple of days. I can't wait. I might get some exciting gifts!
Mum bought a new camera the other day so I suppose I'll be having MORE photos taken. But being so cute and adorable makes her want to keep taking photos - I can't help it if I was born this gorgeous! It's all natural: I have not had any plastic surgery: everything you see is natural beauty.
Better go now, it's time for me to go to bed.

Hello from Tigger

Hello everybody! Finally, I am taking the time to update my diary. It's been a long time since I wrote anything. Sleeping and napping keeps me pretty busy and I don't get lots of spare time.
Guess what? Little people don't scare me so much anymore. My Mum has some tiny little great-nieces and she has been making me associate with them and I guess they are not so bad afterall, once you get used to them. One of them lives really close to us and she visits us at least once a week and I even let her pull my tail!!! Am I good or what?
We had a fairly quiet Christmas because my Gran is not well but I got lots of gifts - that's the main thing. Once again, Mum made me dress up for Christmas photos. I don't suppose she's ever gonna get over that taking photos bug that she seems to have. (Isn't over 1000 photos of me enough???) I've got a birthday coming up in a couple of weeks time and look out, I suppose I'll have to wear a stupid party hat and pose for the camera again!
My photo isn't in the cat calendar this year but I bet Mum will send off some photos for next year's calendar. She loves seeing me in a calendar and why not, I'm so good looking!
It's drizzly here today but I've been outside in it - I LOVE going outside!
I might go and have a nap in front of the TV now or I might watch a bit of the tennis.

Stay Alert!

Hi there! I want to tell you what my Mum did to me the other day. I don't know why she'd do such a thing to me but she did and she even thought it was hysterically funny!! I was sitting on the kitchen windowsill, on the outside, concentrating on watching a bug up high (I thought I might have been able to jump up and catch it or at the very least I'd keep a close watch and pounce on it if it got closer to me) - I was really busy concentrating on that bug. Mum was inside and she snuck up on me and blew in my ear. I got such a fright I fell off the windowsill!! Nobody is normally able to sneak up on me because my hearing is so good but that day I just wasn't paying any attention to anything but that bug and I never ever would have thought My Mum would do something so horrid to me. I will not forget what she did and I'll pay her back. One day when she's not paying attention to me I might give her a little nip on the ankle - I'm sure I'll come up with something good to get even.. (Can you believe she's still laughing about it?)

What A Life!

I've had a busy week this week. This is what happened -
Sunday: I slept for most of the day on the bed.
Monday: I slept for most of the day on the bed.
Tuesday: I slept for most of the day on the bed.
Wednesday: I slept for most of the day on the bed.
Thursday: I slept for most of the day on the bed. My Aunt and Uncle came to visit but that's ok because this time they didn't bring the little people with them.. (I even rested on the bed with my Uncle Damian)
Friday: I slept for most of the day on the bed.
Saturday: I slept for most of the day on the bed.
It's a wonderful life! I love being a cat!!
Goodnight from me, I'm off to bed now, it's been a hard day and a really hard week!

In Trouble Again

Hi! Did I ever mention that my middle name is Trouble? Well, I've been in trouble again. Mum took me to the vet for my annual check-up and injection. I told her I didn't want to go - she knows I hate it when the car is running. (She can't understand why I love to sleep in or on the car when it's not going but I HATE IT when the engine is running) I was having a beautiful sleep on the bed when she came along and tried to pick me up to take me to the vet - I gave her a bit of a nip and a scratch just so she'd know I was not happy.. Anyway, after a bit of fighting between us, she won and off we went to the vet (why can't we walk?). I wasn't going to take this lying down though and a little fella really has to let people know who is the boss! How would human people like it if their doctor tried to take their temperature the same way our doctor does? Do you think they wouldn't object? and I let the vet know just how unhappy about it I was. The vet left the room for a minute so while Mum was holding me and telling me how beautiful I am (she really doesn't need to keep telling me all the time - I already know what a good looker I am) I bit her and scratched her. Then the vet came back with a nurse - they wanted to shave a bit of hair from my leg to take some blood for a blood test. I bit both of them!! Then the vet stuck a needle into me and I hissed and spat and growled at her. Then she stuck another needle into me so I hissed and spat and growled again. Goodness me, what do they think this is? Do they think I'm a pin-cushion? Mum said I totally embarrassed her and I heard her telling the vet that she has never known me to be so grumpy. I just didn't feel like co-operating that day. I was having such a nice sleep before being interrupted to go the vet. When I came home I got back on the bed and slept the rest of the day away. I really love sleeping.

Hi! I thought it was time to do a little update. I had my 5th birthday in January. I have never been so humiliated in all my life! My Mum made me wear a party hat and she took photos!!!! What's a guy to do? Photos ! Wearing a party hat!! BUT, I did get birthday cake, so I suppose that helps to make up for that humiliation. Every year on my birthday I'm supposed to sit there and pose for a portrait wearing a stupid party hat.. Maybe I won't celebrate birthdays anymore......(something to think about).

I'll tell you something else too. I was in big trouble recently - I stayed out all night and I'm never telling my Mum where I was or what I was doing. She reckons I'm such a 'nosey parker' that I would have been sticky-beaking in one of the neighbour's sheds or garages and got locked in for the night. She can think whatever she likes - I'm not telling her anything about that night. She waited up until 3am for me! She thought something bad had happened to me. I've told her to give me a key so I can let myself in but she just wants to know where do I think I'd keep a key. Anyway, a fella's gotta have some secrets - my lips are sealed about that night.

My human cousin's little kid came to visit recently - yikes!! Kids scare the you-know-what out of me. I think they should be banned from my house!
