Napping, Sleeping and Resting. He has a foot fetish and checks out everyone's feet!
Pet-Peeves:
Driving in the car. He hates thunder storms and any other loud noises. Not too fond of strangers especially if they try to pick him up though he has been known to jump up into the lap of a total stranger.
Favorite Toy:
Balls and crunched up paper and anything on a string to chase around - that's when he gets his aerobic workout! He has a favourite plush cat that he's had since I got him and he plays with that a lot and carts it around with him.
Favorite Nap Spot:
His chair outside (that he actually pinched from his Pop & he will hunt anyone out of it if they dare to sit in it), the bed & in the greenhouse. In winter his Mum's lap.
Favorite Food:
Anything with tuna in it and he can sniff out icecream from a mile away - he loves it! Very recently he has developed a real liking for people food - whatever we are having he likes to try.
Skills:
He's totally adorable!!! He knows the meaning of many words and he chooses which can of food he's going to have (and after it has been opened sometimes he'll change his mind!).

Arrival Story:
I admired him at the pet shop and the next day my niece bought him for me. Ever since then he and I have shared a mutual admiration society.
Bio:
Tigger loves to be the centre of attention - he is an only child afterall. Every evening at about 6pm he stops whatever he's been doing (usually napping) and expects me to stop whatever I'm doing (getting dinner ready) so that we can go for a walk. He LOVES the outdoors and loves it if someone is out there with him - you don't have to be paying him any special attention, just as long as someone is out there he's in cat heaven. Being totally spoilt he expects to get what he wants when he wants it and look out if that doesn't happen. He goes totally ape if he's inside while I am talking on the phone - he races around the house and jumps all over the furniture and I'm sure that if we had a chandelier he'd be hanging from that too! Every night before bed we have to play a game of soccer with some of his stuffed cats. He loves routine. I don't know what I did before Tigger - life must have been very dull. I'd been without a cat for a few years before I got Tigger. For the first two years of Tigger's life he had a very good cat friend named Tom who lived next door. Tom was a lot older than Tigger and one day poor old Tom died and Tigger fretted and pined for him so much that he almost died. I am so lucky to still have him. At times he can be very fiesty but he is also very loving and affectionate with his family. It's a real pity that visitors and the vet, etc don't get to see the real Tigger - they only get to see shy, timid Tigger.

Greetings everybody!
It's been a while since I last wrote in my diary.
I have been very busy sleeping, napping and resting - it really takes it out of me!!
It's winter here in Australia and I like to snuggle up inside and keep nice and warm. I still love to go outdoors too but I'm spending more time inside in the warm at present.
My Mum has been very busy too (NOT sleeping, napping and resting). She loves cats (me especially...) and has even opened her own little gift shop on-line selling cat and teddy bear items.
She really, really loves cats!

Better go and have another nap now.

Meows to everyone. It's been a long time but finally I'm giving you a bit of an update. I have been such a busy little man. Sleeping and napping really wears me out!
My Mum re-arranged the furniture in the living room and I have claimed one of the recliners as my very own. It's in a great spot near the window and I can see all that is going on outside.
It's almost Christmas - that means gifts for me - yippee!
Then, next month it is my birthday - more gifts!!! I'll be 8 on my next birthday - Mum tells me I'll be a senior citizen (whatever that means).
I got a new toy on a string the other day - I love it. Mum and I play with it for ages and then I'm so tired I have to go to bed.
We have a new car and I'm supposed to stay off it so that I don't leave scratches all over it like I did with the old one but I love sleeping on the car.
I have a new human cousin - she's ok - she doesn't try to chase me - yet!
One of my other human cousins is walking on two legs now and she tries to steal my food!! (What a cheek)
Oh yeah, we have a Christmas tree!! Wow, that is so much fun. I don't know why my Mum doesn't like me climbing it. Isn't that what trees are for? There are all sorts of interesting things hanging on the tree (all cat designs) and I love playing with them all. I really can't understand why I am supposed to stay away from the tree and all those pretty things.
My Gran went away earlier this year. I can't find her anywhere. I looked and looked everywhere for her for weeks but Mum said she's not coming back. I miss sleeping on the bed with Gran. The bed is not the same without her.
Well, speaking of beds, I'm getting tired. Maybe I should go to bed. I could do with a good sleep.
Maybe I'll write in my diary again soon.

Hi everyone! Today is my 7th birthday!!! Yay!
I've had a lovely day. I slept. I rested. I napped. I ate. I got cards and gifts. I got stars and rosettes from my Catster friends - thank you all so much. Mum got a new camera the other day so of course I had to pose for birthday photos (I would have had to do that regardless of whether or not it was a new camera) - I'll get her to upload some for you to look at. I got a new collar which makes me look even more handsome than I already did look! Must go now. It's getting late and I've had a busy day so I should go to bed. Meows from Tigger.
