Arrival Story:
Over a year ago or so, I had seen a woman trying to find a home for a tuxedo cat with IBD on craigslist. She was giving him up because he was such a lover that he had a bad habit of trying to sleep on the new baby... knowing how hard it is to find homes for cats with medical issues, I sent her an email saying that my home was NOT the best for him, that I DID NOT want another cat, that I have TOO MANY, but if it comes down to the pound or me, I'd rather take him. Our shelters here are so overfilled, they get so little time to find homes... So, after she kept posting for awhile, the ads stopped and I assumed she found him a home. I didn't hear a word from her. Then, the day or so after Simon went to the Bridge, I got an email asking me to take "Jack", as she had truly run out of options and time... and was I still open to take him? It was just so uncanny that after all that time she would respond, and right after Simon went to the Bridge... I knew he sent him to me. I had no doubt in my mind. He arrived on February 19, 2009.

Bio:
Jackson is an unbelievably open cat, like Simon. He hasn't even hissed at a single kitty, and has been out and exploring from the moment he arrived. Even Jasmine Elsa, the hater of all things feline, doesn't seem to be afraid of him. All the cats sense something unique about him... I can't wait to get to know him better...
