Likes:
Smoodging and tearing around the house like a bat out of hell, sitting on the newspaper when I'm trying to read it , lying on his back and having his tummy rubbed.

Pet-Peeves:
Being brought inside after he's been out in the yard on his harness. It is the only time he grumbles

Favorite Toy:
The whole house and any people in it.

Favorite Nap Spot:
No favourite - he has taken over every room - sleeps in a variety of spots - up high, in cupboards and on my favourite chairs.

Favorite Food:
He justs loves everything - not fussy at all! In other words, he's greedy.

Skills:
Jumping on to the highest cupboards, opening sliding wardrobe doors. Also very good at poking out his tongue when his photo is taken

Dwells:
indoors and outdoors

Arrival Story:
My previous cat (a petite tortoiseshell) died at the age of 20 years and I desperately wanted another cat. I discovered two cats that had been housed in a cattery for two months because their elderly owners could not look after them. When I visited I fell in love with the two large ginger gentle bruisers. So I adopted Teddy and his mate. The people at the cattery kept them free of charge for this length of time because they believed that such lovely cats deserved a good home.

Bio:
Teddy is a magnificent cat in every way. Apparently the Somali in his background has given him extremely silky fur, a lovely golden tip at the ends of each piece of fur, a gentle soft miaow and a fantastic spirit of adventure. He also has a wicked sense of humour. One would think he has attended cat modelling school at some time as he just knows how to strut and show his magnificent tail off to the greatest effect. I also believe he has attended skating lessons too as he has no trouble jumping onto furniture and skating along taking various objects with him! When he first arrived at his new home he did a circuit of the house and explored every nook and cranny within a very short space of time. In spite of all this he also loves a lap and a cuddle. He also enjoys lying back and being brushed.

First Ever Entry - I'm not shy at all

I've never written in a diary before but here goes:-

Just look at that Holiday Party Photo. There is my left paw covering my mouth and nose! Anyone would think I am very bashful and wish to hide or that I am covering a nasty scratch on my nose. Ah! that is just not true, I am a real showman and love the limelight and who would want to scratch me anyway?

The truth is that I have an awful habit of sticking out my tongue when my photo is taken. This time, because of the special holiday photo, I decided I'd put my paw there so I wouldn't appear rude. After all, thousands of cats may see this and not want to be friends if they think I'm a nasty puss (especially at this friendly holiday time).

So now I've taken the plunge - it won't be so hard next time.....
