my mom got me about 6 months after P.C. passed. The kids brought me home thinking I was what mom needed to make her feel better. She was still grieving over P.C. I really didn't do much cheering though, she loved me as a mom does. She cared for me and she learned to be happy again. I was not such a good kitty, I didn't always use a litter box which made mom mad sometimes. I was with her for 9 years. One day she came home from work, I was lifeless, couldn't walk. I was rushed to the vet, he told mom that I"d be ok, mom had her doubts though. At 10:00 that night they called and said my kidneys were full of blood, I was hooked up to all kinds of tubes and IV"s. the next day mom came to see me, i was worse I couldn't even lift my head. Mom petted my head, I barely opened my eyes. I was suffering, mom knew, she made the decision to let me go. She picked me up and held me so tight as the final moment came. she kissed my cheek and I went to the bridge to join P.C.. mom has my ashes now and when mom is ready to join us all, her last wish is to have all our ashes mixed together so we can always be together. we sure love our mom, she was the best to us.
