...lotsa rain, but still, two adoptions and one kitty's owner found him!
One very nice kitty, whom we were calling "Austin," was found today by his owner. Turns out his real name is "Yoshi," and they found him just in time for his neuter appointment! The happy lady who picked him up took him straight to the vet, where he'll spend the night and get neutered tomorrow, then return home. Hooray!
A nice puppy went to his new furrever home. His shelter name was "Rocky," and his new family had not decided on a name yet when they left. He is a cute (if you like dogs) Catahoula/Black Mouth Cur mix. Yay for him!
A little screechy kitten went home today as well. She is a black smoke kitten, one of five that came in together. She is very loud and though I'm happy she got a new home, I'm more happy that she is not there making so much noise. Her new name is Isabelle. My staff were quite happy and gave her lots of kisses to say goodbye.
Despite the muggy rain, it was a good day.

Well, well, well...it's about time....my own webpage. I must say I'm impressed with this...
It has been rainy and wet in East Texas these past couple of days, and yet wonderful people are still coming in to adopt. We had several adoptions today...the more that get outta here, the more peaceful it is for me, so this is a win-win situation. We sent home a lovely black kitty named Storm, a good heeler dog named Jake, and a sweet red puppy who hasn't gotten his permanent name yet.
I am pleased with the efforts the staff has put forth to keep me happy and keep the animals moving out and into furrrever homes. Good job, folks!
