cats like people food too

they just don't get it. mom's boyfriend came over last night, and mom made pasta for dinner. i love pasta. actually, i love just about any kind of people food. mom and joe ate in her bedroom so they could watch a dvd. i tried to get just one piece of pasta. mom's usually pretty good about letting me have a taste, but every time i jumped up on the bed and nudged either mom or joe with my nose, joe would put me on the floor. i tried again and again with the same result. maybe one of these days i'll get them trained.

it was going to be a great evening. my annoying little brother was visiting the grandparents and cousins, and i had mom all to myself. it started off great. i got all sorts of extra attention and mom gave me some extra cat treats. i was curled up sleeping while she was using the computer when someone knocked on the door. when mom opened it, grandma came in carrying aj. i was quite perturbed. aj promptly came over and started to try to play with me. can he not take the hint? i'm too old for those games! i retreated to mom's room to hide from aj's pouncing on and batting at me. anyone want a free kitten? let me know! :)
